Recent years have been scarce with lavish events where famous people could show their beautiful custom-made designer clothes. So when talks about the Met Gala 2021 started, people were very much into seeing what their favorite celebrities were going to look like. Of course, not all people find these events important and see them more like a vanity fair. Having this in mind, soon after the pictures of this year’s Met Gala event were shared, the internet was filled with funny memes mocking stars and their outfit choices. What a good pup! I'm sorry I don't know about this, so can anyone share with me who this pup is and why he was at the Met?

People are suggesting it's a drug sniffing dog on security detail but they usually wander around smelling everywhere. I'd guess he's a Service Dog (or Therapy Animal) and that this is why he's so focused on his Handler, as is repeatedly mentioned in the articles. (But I may be prejudiced as I'm a Trainer of Service Animals.) And his "problem" with Kim's costume is an example of what I call "Silhouette Syndrome". How dogs react to uniforms, esp. Police Officer's dark ones (esp. with sunglasses). Same reason solid black dogs get attacked by other dogs more... dogs feel "threatened" by large dark subjects whose face they can't "read". (Sound familiar? It's a "throwback" instinct.)

For those who are interested in numbers, in 2019, the ball raised 15 million dollars. According to New York Times, the tickets for this event cost 30,000 dollars. And even if this sum of money would not be a problem to the biggest celebrity guests, it is known that the guestlist for this event is prepared all year long. This is very lovely as is, and compared to some of the SciFi ...outfits shown (creative but not necessarily flattering or quite what you'd expect for a Gala) this is actually stunning. You can wear a 'normal' dress (although it was probably custom made and cost more than I could imagine) and still look elegant and it's actually flattering

😆! I had a quilt like this that my grandmother made way back in the 70's. The individual pillows were each separately stuffed with cut up panty hose and knee highs, it made the pillows soft. It was very warm 😊.
