Can anyone explain the meaning of life?

I don't quite have a complete answer, (like everyone else lol)
But I knew someone who was basically my counselor, my youth pastor whom I recently lost.
We wanted to know the same thing, and the closest we got from a Christian perspective is this: Life is a test of the love you can show on earth. That's what we're here for. Now if you want to run down the rabbit hole, there's a famous clinical psychologist who is on the search himself, and has been thinking about purpose for his whole life. His name is Jordan Peterson, and he's pretty awesome. He recognizes our need to change, to learn, and most importantly, the place of God in our purpose.
I would highly recommend giving his lecture: "Introduction To the Idea of God" a listen. An possibly the rest of his bible stories series. He can speak in complicated language, but I always get something out of hearing his thoughts.
