Former Marine Who Stole A Truck To Save Vegas Shooting Victims Just Got This Message From The Car Owner
Yesterday, we brought you heroic stories of people selflessly helping others during Sunday night’s horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas. One such story was of 29-year-old former marine Taylor Winston, who took an empty truck with keys left inside, and used it to help victims in the most important way.
3 days after the harrowing events, the truck’s owner managed to get in contact with Winston, and has shared the texts they exchanged. Scroll down to find out what he said, and remember that hope can be found even in the wake of unimaginable tragedy.

Share on FacebookHow could someone be mad at this "thief"? He truly deserves to be labelled hero. Sometimes you have to do things that you normally wouldn't in order to help others but as long as your intentions are good, even stealing a truck could be forgiven.
Omas, he made a 'command decision' on the spur of the moment. And it is what combat soldiers/marines are taught to do, because it can make the difference between life and death. In this case it was a "no brainer". I don't know where you come from, but you need to seriously look within yourself.
Load More Replies...Omas Bioladen - you're a fukin c**t and need a to go back to fukin your goats!
Load More Replies...Journalist - QUIT referring to Marines as former Marines - once a Marine ALWAYS a Marine.
You should have more UPVOTES for this comment!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Load More Replies...Is he active duty or reserve? If not, then he's ex. That's what ex means. It's not a sign is disrespect to call somebody what they literally are. As a matter of fact, the part about him being an ex marine is absolutely irrelevant to the story in the first place. He's a human that stole a truck to help other humans.
Load More Replies...General Motors should give new trucks to both the truck owner and the Marine....thank God he was able to find a truck with keys........."Divine Intervention"???
Ford should give each of them a good truck. Both deserve upgrades.
Load More Replies...I'd be okay with him taking my truck to save people. It seems he also thought in the heat of the moment about saving the tool box for the owner.
The removal of the tool box was to get more people, not "save "the tol box. Iwould ahve done the same thing then if the owner has a problem then so be it. Arrest me and I will face the consequences of my actions, in the court of public opinion, court of law and before the Almighty later on. I did what I thought was right at the time. I never second guess my decisions.I just live with the consequences. If the truck were mine, I wouldn't have had a problem. It is just a truck, I can get another one. Same with my house. If it burns down the n so be it. I will get another.
Load More Replies...The word " borrowed the truck" is much more appropriate! Thank for being an American hero!
@Ken Hamilton, in this case, the theft was warranted. Really, the rules should allow for extreme situations. Yes, he literally stole a truck. He's a hero for stealing that truck, and if the owner has any related expenses, I will be very glad to help.
Load More Replies...metal can be replaced, the lives cannot. This Marine was doing what came natural. American Hero
People are dying, but we should probably stop to think about insurance rates. Would hate to inconvenience someone...
Load More Replies...i agree with the tweet above...come on, Chevy, give them BOTH a new truck! the good PR is well worth it!.....i know a lot of people who would have done the same thing--just get in there and help any way possible, even if it means bending the law a bit. There was a truck with keys, and people who needed to get to a hospital right away---it would have been shameful to not put the truck to good use.
Chevrolet needs to step up and replace the truck with a new one.
If you as an owner don't like that he did this, don't leave your keys in your car? At least it was a civil exchange to get the car back.
i agree, you leave your keys in a unlocked car and you are begging for it to be stolen.
Load More Replies...Would love to donate to truck owner to clean truck. Both of these people are hero material
I would not call Mr Winston a thief ! He is a selfless hero serving the USA citizens both in the armed services and as a concerned member of the public. Hat's off to you sir and to all the other heroes that helped in this sad sad incident.
EXIGENT CIRCUMSTANCES: In the criminal procedure context, exigent circumstance means the following: An emergency situation requiring swift action to prevent imminent danger to life or serious damage to property, or to forestall the imminent escape of a suspect, or destruction of evidence. Well Done, Marine. This demonstrates there is no such thing as a 'former' Marine. Semper Fi.
He's not still serving. He's a veteran Marine. I know it's easy and fun to pretend former service members are still active duty, but they're not and there needs to be a distinction. He's a VETERAN.
Load More Replies...Some one should get the owners name and start a gofundme account either to buy a new truck or have his professionally cleaned
Something should be done for Taylor for stepping up and saving lives..
Load More Replies...I love this article. We need more people like this in the world. I do have one small complaint. Can the author please note there is not such thing as a former Marine? Once a Marine, always a Marine. :)
Hmmm he said on the news it was a company truck? He figured they left keys in it cause they usually do. A truck used on sight for the concert or something. I can tell you it was not a personal truck of someone. And on top of that the insurance company told him he may have to pay for damages caused due to blood. It was part of his interview. I think this is fake. And how dare any insurance company demand he pay for any damages!!!!!!!!
He did not steal the truck. Stealing is with the intention of not returning it & doing it for a bad deed to benefit a desire of yours. Instead, he used the truck for the moral good and saved dozens of lives with the truck. He is a hero to American society who in spite of the worst domestic terrorist attack in modern American history saved many despite the consequences of him taking the truck. Semper Fi! Once A Marine, Always A Marine!
Commandeer-‘verb (used with object) 1. to order or force into active military service. 2. to seize (private property) for military or other public use: The police officer commandeered a taxi and took off after the getaway car. 3. to seize arbitrarily.’
Load More Replies...There's plenty of car museums in Las Vegas, give the truck to them! And then the truck company should make a new truck called Hero and give the owner and the ex Marine a new one and show them in a commercial!
Its so nice and refreshing to see we still have wonderful human begins in today's troubled ways. I would to buy him a meal one day. The make of the truck should GIVE the owner and "OUR HERO" a new one... just awesome..........................
I'm sure he was an excellent marine and an even better American hero.
My only issue would be if I got out of my truck to get "My" injured family inside and he took it... Could of been really bad for the owner of the truck.
Notice the "if". He woild be told if something like that had happened, thankfully it did not but you should still look at the main point of this; he saved a c**p ton of people. He is a hero.
Load More Replies...This man didn't "steal" anything. To steal is to maliciously take and not return...this is different. This article needs a new title.
I think he is one great man, human being and a HERO!!!!!
If that was my truck, I wouldn't care that it was stolen to help people. But, consider I had a car that was nearly destroyed by thief who stole an old pair of sneakers.
It's nice to have a feel good story at such a tragic time. There is still good in this country after all
I'm glad the driver was cool with it. This is the kind of america we need to have more of. also...that dude is ridiculously gorgeous. someone give him a modeling contract.
Semper Fi, once a Marine, always a Marine. I am the proud mother of an Ex-(still) a marine. Taylor I am very proud of you. God bless you forever.
a true American hero. thank you for your act of bravery and compassion. a true heartfelt thank you for your service.
a true American hero. thank you for your act of bravery and compassion. a true heartfelt thank you for your service.
There are many kind and courageous and compassionate people in this world. Our news is skewed. Try to remember the heroes - not the perpetrators: Taylor Winston is the hero. What is the name of the truck owner? Does anyone know who (if anyone) followed up with a generous or inspiring response? These are the stories I'd like to keep hearing.
I think everyone who ignored personal repercussions to help their fellow concert goers escape and survive that terrible night are hero's. I'm sure any judge seeing this guy stand infront of them facing theft charges would dismiss them without and further thought. Thank God there are people like Winston in this world!
Sabrina Nastee Kay Thank you and your parents for sharing you grandfather with the corps. If it were not for the American soldiers during WWII My mother's family in London I honestly don't think would have survived. American soldiers missed their families and so would adopt British families to share dinners and holidays and would bring and share whatever they were able to get. If it weren't for generous American soldiers watching out for my mum's family there are many times that tummies would have been empty.
Saw his interview today. these text are not true. He said it was a truck used on sight. There were a few but he knew they usually kept keys in them and lucky for him the first truck he tried did have keys in it. The insurance company told him he may have to pay for the damages caused by blood. He also went on to say that his girlfriend helped him load people while she had two broken vertebres (sorry spelling sucks) and injured ribs. Both are totally heros!!!!!! And if I find out what insurance company is being so heartless I'm gonna contact them!!!
Omas, go back to that cave you came out of, go inside, and then roll the bigass rock back to cover the entrance.
I think there was a little of Divine intervention! God had put into action a plan to help the people that were going to be hurt during this concert. And yes, sent two angels to carry out his plan to help His people. One of the angels was the man who forgot his keys in the unlocked truck and the other was a Marine. Impressive is all I can say. Amen and may God bless all those who were injured and killed at this concert.
My thanks go out to this MARINE (because that is what he is) for the quick thinking and taking charge of the situation!
A big thank you to the owner of the truck and the man who used it to save lives.
The owner didn't seem to be mad.....just wanted his keys back and probaly the blood in the back cleaned out
Bless his heart!! If I were the owner I wouldn't mind one bit. I would be happy that this man had the fast response to be the hero he is!! May God Bless you Always Taylor!! Always a Hero in our eyes!!
Wat to go Taylor Winston.. Your truly a HERO ... God bless ya hun.
omas bioladen - Pork Boi, shut the f**k up ya tit! Hope you get 40 Virgins wearing 18" Strap on's that bum the f**k out your facehole and your a*****e! **RANT OVER** Taylor Winston Well done fella much respect for what you did :)
Not theft, given no intent to permanently deprive ownership, or damage the vehicle in a way that there's loss of value (s**t, it's probably MORE valuable now, given its attachment to a historical event). Some technical wag might throw larceny at it, but given the owner's responses, some DA would have to be willing to attempt career suicide to file the charges.
we need an honest version of go fund me to send this gent some cash so he can buy his own truck.. Any such thing exist currently?
my god the truck company must have s**t in their eyes ,what excellent pr for their product,to say nothing of the pr for the american marine corp ,this man displayed extra ordinary common sense in a tricky situation,as they say "comes the hour comes the man" me thinks some recognition should be forth coming for quick thinking and heroism
What a hero going back more than once. I'm so pleased that the truck owner agreed with what he did he helped too. He didn't steal the truck for a joy ride he borrowed it to save lives. Be blessed all involved
I believe the best term would be commandeered, ‘verb (used with object) 1. to order or force into active military service. 2. to seize (private property) for military or other public use: The police officer commandeered a taxi and took off after the getaway car. 3. to seize arbitrarily.’ He took it for honable reasons, not selfish ones and he had no intention of keeping it. I have two sons entering the military and I would hope they would use their military training to do exactly the same thing, to jump in and save as many lives as possible.
Ken Hamilton, lets hope that your not a shooting victim bleeding out and begging someone to "check their insurance" because you don't think its right to borrow someone's vehicle without permission! Selfless HERO! This MARINE had the fortitude to save lives... stepped up regardless of the risk to himself and your freaked out over insurance rates and "who is gonna clean up this mess!" Now what does that say about you as man? Hmmm?
It says that I'm not a wealthy person and that the financial aspect of life plays into every decision that I make daily. I love how everyone is saying "Borrow" now, it was without permission, if it was me, either the police would be filing criminal charges or I would be filing civil. Whatever damage these is wouldn't be coming out of my pocket.
Load More Replies...great uplifting story..so many heroes.....He should be the face of chevy trucks run tough...
Good on the owner for leaving his keys. Not a good idea but it was a godsend..
commandeering a vehicle at such a time for such a reason can only be classed as fast thinking heroism don't see how the theft label fits
Did what he was trained for, saving life.. Not only was he acting in the finest tradition, Chevy should award him a new truck.... Semper Fi , well done.
This man is a hero. Not because he is a marine. But because he didn't have to take all those people to the hospital. He didn't have to steal that other guys truck. In fact he could have gotten arrested. But he did it anyways. That is a hero. Firemen and cops are brave but thats their job and they arent heroes. very brave men and women yes but not heroes. Thats the job they signed up for. But this man just stepped up and did what needed to be done. That is a true hero
He is a HERO for sure.. So many others didn't think twice about helping out and he made two trips and risked his own life.. Stand up guy.
Top man. Marines both side of the Atlantic are a cut above. And a good attitude from the truck owner - to be fair, I would expect no different.
OMG! That man could take my truck any time! On the serious side I guess once a hero, always a hero. He certainly was that night. Some of those people might have died by the time enough ambulances arrived. I agree with one of the other commenters, the car brand the truck came from should give the owner a new one, give them both a new one. Good publicity for them and a reward for both the hero and the man whose truck interior is now probably ruined. Having been an EMT for 34 years, I know how hard it is to get blood out.
Once a Marine always a Marine, instead of saying Former Marine how about Marine Veteran. Otherwise great story.
He did not steal the truck he borrowed it. Then he made arrangements to return it to its owner. I would not mind if he took my vehicle to save others as long as he returned it.
Semper Fi!! He is trained to take charge of the situation adapt and overcome. He is nothing short of a hero. You can bank on the fact that he saved lives. No price on life it's a truck at the end of the day someone is going home to there family because of his quick actions. Job well done devil dog!!!
Happy the owner left the keys in the truck & thank God for the hero marine. God bless
I think the word former should be scrapped. In that situation, he was a marine, a credit to his country and to his training.
Great job to this marine and like most post, someone has to make negative comments, use profanity and show disrespect. So pathetic.
All i can say is Thank you sir owner of the truck to HAVE left your Keys on the ignition .that MADE it easier for Taylor Winston for his immediate action to save the VICTIMS by driving them to the HOSPITAL for immediate Care. Thank you sir Taylor Winston .,God bless.🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank God he was brave enough to act, and not worry about what would happen later.
He didn't blow up the motor or total the truck and returned it all in one piece. Pretty hard to be mad at the guy for "borrowing" your truck to take people to the emergency room. Clean up the mess and the blood and be glad your equipment was "borrowed" for such a noble effort. What a great story to tell to your grandkids.
He made an analytical and calculated move based on the life and death scenario as well as his training. There should be a law that makes life and death situations ok to go around the law. As long as you are helping and anyone who cashed in on that situation, such as robbery and theft deserves harsher punishment.
Joey Lewis shut up and grow up. If you can't handle a few little swear words on the internet that you may need to shut off your access to the outside world. Grown adults have come to understand that swear words aren't a big deal, and whether you choose to use them or not trying to force your decisions on whether it's dirty or not is idiotic
Former Marine? No, we don't think so....once a marine, always a marine. There is no word that aptly describes what he did, it was that great. I'm from a Navy family, but I still know that about the Marines. God bless.
And to all the others who did everything they could to help the others...they are all heros
Load More Replies...All good. Now what's the story behind a guy leaving the keys in his truck in Vegas?
Hope they don’t try and charge him. I know there where issues with people trying to grab shot guns and patrol rifles from Metro Police Cars as well as many attempts by victims to steal some of the cruisers to drive to the hospital.
His intentions are to be praised! No thief here! His quick thinking saved lives! Praise to the owner who left his keys in the ignition too!
Well done Sir. and if the owner didn't have a problem with it then why would anyone else. This is why i have high respect for our service ladies and men. They don't think when people need help they just know what needs to be done and do it. The one thing i'm happy about is if anything happens and we need help from terrorists. Ex or not they will be there to still fight with us. As a tax payer i wish all my taxes would go for them because that would be money well spent for me.
So glad this turned out this way. I know I wouldn't have minded. I would probably do the same thing. We live where the eye of Katrina Hit. We use to always leave our flat boat home with a full tank in case it happened. There was 16foot flat boat available. With the Intentions that it Better be used for Rescuing/Helping People. Thank You Taylor for Your Service both during your Gov Contract and LV!
a smart car dealer would give the owner and the marine each a new truck so they are ready for the next emergency
If the inside is full of blood, we might need to start a go caring fund to raise money to replace it ( go fund me keeps hight %)
The shooter was just as American. It has NOTHING to do with nationality.
Load More Replies...For some reason the owner left his truck idling , for what ever reason it was meant for Taylor to help all the victims he did . Great job Taylor !! Thoughts and Prayers for all affected by this senseless tragedy
Would love to hear that this man got a new truck with all the bells and whistles. They are both heros. One for action...the other for attitude.
I love the idea of the truck being replaced by a new model by the manufacturing company. But I'd give the new one to Winston.
Amazing , great job. Thankful he was there and able to save and help so many
Maybe he contacted local law and had them run a check to see whose it was. Or maybe the hotel had it registered under a room. There is a way other than doing a name exchange, although I did like reading your thought after so much devastation it made me giggle just a little.
Load More Replies...I don't consider this theft! He used his training, and was in survival mode! He did good!! The right thing! Shame on anyone who thinks otherwise!! And to the person who left the keys in your truck, that may have been Devine intervention!! It happened for a reason!! You inadvertently helped save lives!!
Ooh Rah Marine!!! Thank you for all you helped and saved!! And,, to the truck owner, you played a big part too, even if you didn't know it at the time. Thank you as well!! Both of you earned stars in your crowns.
Omg...the person that owned the truck did not have a problem everyone please be kind we need this in the world...the man that took the truck was doing a act of kindness please STOP our world is getting so ugly
The owner of the truck as well as the one who took the truck while saving lives, both heroes in my opinion. While I would not like blood all over my truck, ALL LIVES MATTER and in my opinion, this worked out well for those who needed help, and fast. United we stand, divided we fall. Omas Bioladen, may God help you come to know the Real God before it's too late.
HOW did it work out well for the owner??? He's got to pay to either restore the interior (IF it's possible to get the bloodstains out) or replace? That sounds like a Lose/Lose to me
Load More Replies...I think Omas Bioladen needs to be skull f****d with a 12 gauge shotgun but I think the Marine is a hero and Chevy should replace the truck with a new one for the owner and one for the Marine.
he is just a troll. down vote everything they say and maybe we can get his account banned.
Load More Replies...So, GoFundMe for a new truck for both parties is in order here. Also, I'm not tearing up. YOU are.
Ken Hamilton -- What don't you understand by the worst mass shooting in modern times -- A MAJOR EMERGENCY. That hero and his hero girlfriend, injured as she was, started loading wounded while the shooter was still killing people. Loading that truck with wounded made both of them prime targets. Your attitude is that of a Certifiable Rectal Orifice mounted in an Equine Posterior!!! Before attempting to pass judgment, you should first place a foot atop each shoulder and attempt to extract that Cranial Rectal Suppository!!!
....The Sheeple can only nourish themselves on Bull S**t...and it shows..so pathetically!
I agree with one of the post that Chevy should give the guy a new truck....
He didn't steal it! He commandeered it for a greater good to save many lives.
Chevy should offer both this marine and the company a brand new truck...
Chevy should give this Marine a brand new truck, and the company a brand new truck as well...
There is a world of difference between “Borrowed” and STOLEN! STOLEN is a criminal act of taking someone else’s property without the intention of returning. This hero didn’t have that in mind when he “borrowed” the vehicle.
"Hey dude where's my truck?" "Oh I borrowed it and saved 24 or so people with it." "KEEP MY TRUCK FOREVER."
It belonged to the company, not the guy. Not his to give.
Load More Replies...I love how the guys response was simply along the lines of, "could I just get my keys back bro?"
Thank you Taylor Winston for your service and for your heroic efforts in Vegas that saved so many lives. You truly were one of God's angels that night.
I agree we should start a campaign to get Chevrolet to give this truck owner and the marine that used the truck to save many lives that night and what better publicity can Chevrolet and General Motors receive other than giving these guys two new trucks and taking the one that was used to save them 30 plus people and putting it on tour around the country maybe even get that brave Marine to tour with it telling the story !!!
That was some quick and creative thinking he did ! Maybe they didn't all survive, but I'll bet many of them did and they probably would not have if they'd had to lie on that field and wait 45 minutes for their turn in an ambulance. I think he's a hero - how did anybody know at that point where the gunman was and who he was aiming at next.
His service training kept him in good stead a REAL hero, well done digger
Taylor Winston, may God Bless your contribution to the crisis You became a big part of, & your ability to commandeer & use the truck, that was fortunately available.
So awesome ...God bless ....what a hero on both sides the man who helped and the man whos truck he stoled....''.. need more people like these in this world ...
What a "Fellow" God Bless Taylor Winston, I'm sure the owner of the truck, will be real proud of their small contribution to such an opportunity to be of some assistance.
wow...You are a blessed and special person..They are all so grateful you came along when you did..Bless your heart \0/ 0acdfa1084...af2586.jpg
Its less like theft and more like using the tools available to save lives. If any damage I am sure a fund me site would quickly cover repairs. You have to act fast & be resourceful and this marine did just that. Hats off to him. Nice the truck owner was understanding and that speaks for his character as well.
In my eyes he is a hero. He doesn't steal the truck, he just borrowed to save many lives . Great job.
He's a hero....a added first responder who jumped into action like magic. It's for him and others that so many got the attention they needed. Way to go. Proud of you and your gift of life.
what an uplifting story, what a hero....he should be the new face of Chevy trucks run tough
I am sure there were many heroic events that took place that dreadful night, But I truly believe that this has to be the top, and probably the most rescued by one person....Las Vegas he needs to rewarded for his actions. People don't realize when something like this happens, the active military or post military are likely the ones to come to your aid first. God Bless You and you should certainly be noted as a Hero. Thank You for your service and Thank You for being there for all those people in need <3 <3 <3
He is one great hero saved a lot of life's I would say he done what he done for others in time of crisis he should get the medal of honour cause what he done must have saved life's well done and Semper Fi a lot could learn from his unselfess act to save others .
Pretty much all rules go out the door in a Mass Casualty Incident. It was done with good intentions. I hope a local car detailer or ScrubaDub assists the truck owner!
There's more......got 6 months, lost everything. 68 vw, rebuilt, dual Weber's, Suzuki Samauri, old 🏫 school, some c**t concrete term, was living in my apt. 150 holiday sun tours to SFO.
This man is a true hero. I don't usually get emotional about this kind of thing but this story brought tears to my eyes. Thanks to amazing, compassionate people like this my faith in humanity is restored :)
I don't believe that this key left in this truck by this fella and this Veteran going right to this truck was a coincidence. There was an intervention involved here for this to happen and I believe a higher power was involved...Signed, Nam Vet 67-68...
It's like the keys were left in the truck by that fella for some unknown reason at that particular time for that particular Veteran and he was guided right to that truck, hmmm, don't believe in miracles and the I am? I don't believe in coincidences... Signed , Nam Vet 67-68.....
People are genuinely good it's just that the bad ones get more air and press time.
Taylor, so glad you were there. Guess it’s being at the wrong place at the right time’ Thank the Universe that you were there and the keys were in the truck.
They should both get new trucks from the manufacturer! And that heroic truck sold to the highest American bidder!!! And that should be Donald Trump, our President!
This man a hero so brave to help all.the people he did not know god bless for,his many could save
This man is a great person I would have be to scared to do anything but run and anyone that was mad about a truck people's lives were more than the trucks can be replaced Thanks for this hero From Tennessee
he was a hero and he did not hesitate he did what was needed to save lives you sir will have many rewards in life for saving life god bless you

I think this is an amazing story and he certainly is a hero in my book. He made a quick decision and it helped many people. Hopefully these people made it and can thank him personally one day. I believe God put that truck with the keys in it there for a reason. Thank you Taylor. There should be more people in this world like you and thank you sir for leaving your keys there. You in my book are also a hero.
The guy is a hero and did the right thing, but why do people keep saying the car manufacturer should be obligated to gift them new vehicles? They can if they want to, sure, but why?
How did they know who each other were let alone exchange numbers? (being shot at) Hey dude! I'm gonna steal your truck but here is my contact info.. text me in a couple of days! maybe we can have some s**t click bait site write a lame story later...
It even says in the article that he got the number from someone else, considering this Marines name was posted in the news he probably got a hold of the name and went in search for the number. But I guess reading comprehension is a bit much for you

I wonder how he could be sure that the owner of the truck isn't caught up in the incident too and needs to get a loved one to hospital himself? Just saying.
My personal felony was and states that it is legal to steal and commit a felony in the assistance of others or property or assistance of transport or stop said felony. My case was different, I'm Army so therefore said felony was committed not in response to butt in a commission of said felony. Was not truck butt Jeep Cherokee 72 to 77, of course the color being powder blue. We all n****s now. Wampum being said I recieved 1 month on Kaneohe point and 6 months therefore said MtripleC MCCC, 600 Waiale Dr. Maui. Had 400 welfare dollars delivered, 2 bucks from Mom, store order. Smersch says I can make shower key somehow, shower key issue. Said key was on my personal shampoo, Connie let slide, saw hold and put. Inspection was supposed be tomorrow. Skipped on key. Forgot what I was doing, being on Maui time ley lines, not here. Stereos, fillet knife, Playboy magazines etc. Upon attempting removal of said Jeep, Five-0 🏁🇬🇧 appears. 4 cars out, guns drawn, was buzzed. Locked all the doors
The actions of this man are indeed selfless and heroic. It is, however, in VERY poor taste of BoredPanda to post a shirtless pic of him in this article. It's about saving lives in the wake of a tragedy, not about a weight loss program or a dating profile.
Um, HELLO, don't leave your keys in your truck, dah! By the way, this guy is a true hero.
auto ins.should pay to replace seat covers and carpet .for this good act to save lifes.
WHY? Then the owner gets hit with rate increases because a claim was paid out on the policy, the thief should be made to pay for the repairs/restoration

I can only hope that if I am ever in a situation where I need help, there is someone like him around.

Omas, he made a 'command decision' on the spur of the moment. And it is what combat soldiers/marines are taught to do, because it can make the difference between life and death. In this case it was a "no brainer". I don't know where you come from, but you need to seriously look within yourself.

I think this is an amazing story and he certainly is a hero in my book. He made a quick decision and it helped many people. Hopefully these people made it and can thank him personally one day.
