Real love doesn’t hurt or disappoint. It’s not based on just how you feel but a commitment to one another to always be there for each other even on days when you dislike one another.
1. Lust is selfish and will always put you last on the list. Everything comes before you.
2. Love completes you and cares for you and your feelings. It always respects you and loves you even on days when you are least lovable.
3. Lust will disrespect you and never consider your feelings as long as they are benefiting from the relationship they can care less.
4. Love will always protect you and be with you through everything and anything. Love gives 100% nothing less.
5. Lust only provides tears and loneliness. Even when they are around you it never engages with you leaving you feeling empty and alone.
6. Love can’t get enough of you. It understands that love is sacrificial and that even when you don’t feel like doing something you will do it simply to put a smile on your partner’s face. Love goes out of their way to make sure you are in need of nothing bc even with the smallest gestures it will provide.
7. Lust looks out for self, it cheats, disrespects, manipulates, its abusive and childish. Its self centered. Always putting their needs above yours. It neglects you and betrays you. Its quick to blame and judge and hates to be called out on their wrong doing. Lust almost always too egotistical to apologize.
8. Love is not perfect but will ALWAYS listen. It will take your feelings into consideration and will never have a problem apologizing whenever they are wrong. Love will be there for you even when you try to push it away. It encourages you to live up to your potential and help you reach it.
9. Lust will destroy you. It will leave you physically and emotionally drained. It makes you feel lost and wrong for wanting what you feel you deserve.

We have to be willing to let go whenever we feel that the person we are with brings out the worst in us. We can’t make someone love us or act right, but we can only make them wish they did. Not only will lust rob you of your time but it will also rob you of your self worth. We have to be willing to let go of lust to find the deserving love waiting for us.
