Kylie Jenner Refuses To Talk About Her “Clean Girl” Look Being Influenced By Timothée Chalamet

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have managed to keep their relationship under wraps since rumors emerged in the early months of 2023 that they were an item.

But an elusive comment that the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan made during a recent interview with The New York Times has fans speculating about a possible breakup.

When asked how she felt about people arguing her change towards a simpler style was connected to her relationship with the Dune actor, Kylie responded, “I don’t know how I feel about that. I just don’t want to talk about personal things.”

ET confirmed the Khy founder and the Lady Bird actor were dating in April 2023. The two made a rare public appearance at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards last January, where they were captured kissing.

In recent months, Kylie has been seen in neutral-toned clothing and minimalistic makeup, a drastic change compared to the edgier “King Kylie” aesthetic she displayed in the mid-2010s.

After she posed in a floral “cottagecore” maxi dress with puff sleeves last June, social media users began commenting that Timothée had inspired her to wear more laid-back looks, wiring, “Timothee changed her style,” “Timotheé did something to her,” and “In your Timothee Era.”

During the interview, the businesswoman said she doesn’t read comments on her social media posts, with the exception of receiving feedback for her brands.

Over the years, she has grown accustomed to having strangers discuss her appearance, and she is no longer interested in what they have to say about her body.

“It’s just years and years of not feeling like my face or looks are accepted,” she told the outlet. “There’s nothing anyone could ever say now that would hurt me.”

The 26-year-old linked her change in style to welcoming her second child, Aire, and keeping up with the latest fashion trends.

“It takes me a while after I have a baby to feel like myself again,” the beauty mogul said. “Then you get your body back, and you’re like, ‘Wait, the trends have changed.'”

Her elusive response made some fans speculate about a potential breakup between her and Timothée

While it’s unclear whether Kylie and Timothée are still together, a source close to the couple told ET in January that things in their relationship were going “very well” and that they were “extremely supportive of one other.”

“Kylie is extremely busy and has so many of her own things going on, but she makes an effort to show up for Timothée.

“It means a lot to him to have her support and that she goes out of her way for him and the things he’s passionate about.

“He is so incredibly appreciative and sees a side of Kylie that she doesn’t necessarily show everyone.”

Kylie’s interview comes after Australian designer Jessica Johansen-Bell, the owner of a boutique fashion label called Johansen, accused the TV personality of stealing their signature designs for her fast-fashion brand, Khy.

In a viral TikTok, Jessica said she had worked with Kylie in the past and was surprised to see the resemblance between her off-the-shoulder dresses and the latest releases of Kylie’s collection.

“They don’t seem like they would work well together,” someone commented
