I know that no one is going to respond to this but I'm going to ask anyway.I was asking this because I was talking to my mum when I was in bed last night and basically I said that I'm still going to sleep with my soft toys when I'm an adult. She then started yelling at me and said that sleeping with soft toys as an adult is a "huge red flag" and a "sign of emotional immaturity or stunted development" and called me a "weirdo" for saying that I thought it wasn't that bad. So I was wondering if you thought it was weird?

As a teen who is only a few years away from being an adult, I say that here is absolutely nothing wrong with it! I have an insanely huge collection of plushies that I sleep with, and I will continue to sleep with them probably forever! I think it's totally normal, and I know adults who sleep with soft toys!

I don't think so but then again Im a teen so what do i know. but my cousin like 18 or something I think they sleep with soft toys.
Nope! I’m an adult with children and have a pink ape I sleep with every night.
I don't generally sleep with a soft toy (though I probably did until my ealy 20s) but every so often I will get out my teddy I've had since I was born. My sister is 23 and she has between 1 and 5 soft toys every night. I think there is much less stigma about it these days, whether you are living with a partner or not.
