Everyone Is Trolling IHOP For Going From Pancakes To Burgers, And No One Is As Savage As Wendy’s
The International House Of Pancakes (IHOP) has just rebranded itself into IHOb and everyone noticed. “We’re flippin’ from pancakes, pancakes, pancakes to burgers, burgers, burgers,” the company wrote, following-up on the big announcement. While the customers were kinda confused, their competitors immediately started trolling the dining chain, and it soon turned into a hilarious social media onslaught.
It’s important to note that the name change isn’t permanent. On the same day, the meaning behind the “b” was revealed, the IHOb announced that this move was “just for the time being.” It’s part of a marketing strategy to promote the seven new burgers that the restaurant is adding to its menu. Wendy’s, Burger King, and other huge businesses, however, were having none of it. Roasting IHOb, random internet users have contributed as well. Continue scrolling to check out the responses!
Restaurant chain the International House of Pancakes was founded in 1958, but they have just decided to change it all

Their competitors had things to say, especially Wendy’s
Burger King have also jumped in

I see more talk about bad marketing decisions than I do about actual burgers unfortunately!
Load More Replies...The amount of trolls the got from so many varieties of brands is just astounding... Quite a way to introduce your new brand to the world. :D
I really really hope that this is a temporary marketing campaign and not a permanent name change. Otherwise this won't end well for them. I like their pancakes.
Introduction says it's a temporary change. I don't usually read the intros either.
Load More Replies...This was hilarious. I, too, do not approve of IHOb. It sounds like some kind of Apple knockoff of a talking oven top.
How can they be International anything? We don't have them here. Should be just National.
Bahrain, Canada, Dubai (UAE), Guatemala, Kuwait, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, The Philippines and the U.S. Virgin Islands

I hope Denny's doesn't mess with 2am drunk food like this IHOb is messing with my over-sweetened boysenberry syrup coated childhood memories...
I think, for those of you that remember, they must have hired the NewCoke guy. I heard he was looking for a new job after losing his Coke gig. Took him a long time, maybe he should again start sending out his resume now.
I was so upset about this whole IHOb thing. Where will I go for pancakes now? Or eggs in the middle of the night? Seriously. IHOP was like the best late night place. A special treat for myself. There is nothing special about another burger place. Why are they doing this stupid thing?
Wendy's? Wendy's, who can't get their franchises to carry their breakfasts dares to comment? Wendy's has had the best fast food breakfast dishes, but very few of their eateries are open for breakfast. Their artisan egg sandwich on brioche with hollandaise was great, but not if one Wendy's out of dozens carries it. So let he who carries breakfast cast the first scone.
But, anyone who has ever ordered a burger at IHOP knows they've never gotten a burger right. Unless, overcooked, underseasoned ,dry, sad meat patties in an untoasted bun is the ideal burger these days.
maybe i am undereducated -what is a fast food burger supposed to taste like?
