Iconic Movie Posters I Reimagined With Characters From One Of My Favorite Animated TV Shows (Olan Rogers’ Final Space)
It started out simply enough with an idea I had – “How could I take characters from the hilarious animated show ‘Final Space’ (created by Olan Rogers) and make a cool movie poster?”
The graphic style of the silhouetted figures on the Jurassic Park poster popped into my head right away and was the first completed piece. This was only going to be a one-off illustration using some main core tidbits from Season 1. It was just something to entertain myself, but when the creative momentum is with you – you have to go with it. I started thinking of other iconic movie posters I loved that have a wonderful design. Even if you’ve never seen the source movie for some of these – you most certainly know what movie it represents just from the design layout.
Each of these illustrations was 100% created in Adobe Illustrator which was a great exercise for me practicing different techniques using a vector-art program to achieve a variety of visual styles.
There are subtle details in each poster fans of Final Space will understand, but each image stands on its own as my tribute to the marvelous team behind this animation production.
