No need for political division. Does everything have to be political? Should we hope Ben & Jerry permanently interred in a freezer? FFS.
Absolutely untrue. 90% of the people l know, men and women, keep their back towards the shower head.
Which is why cheap Amaretto(an almond flavored liquor,) is often made from peach pits.
Opposite, actually. Winter pushes the warm air down, since warm air rises. Summer, it pulls the cool air up, since cold air sinks.
I wish people would stop repeating this. It's a sort of retro-active definition. The word "square" has been around since the 1940s or so, generally thought to have started with African-American jazz musicians (as many other slang terms have started). It refers to someone who is conservative, old-fashioned, etc., and is thought to have originated because a square is rigid, predictable and boxy, whereas jazz is fluid and improvisational. So the phrase "be there or be square" means that if you don't show up, you're missing out, and are probably uncool. Has absolutely nothing to do with not being 'around'.
