In my current project “Symbionts” I replace real faces with the faces of the apparatuses whose task is to portray them.

Dealing with the topic „selfiemania“ in several of my art projects (for example „CameraSelfies“), I created „Symbionts“ as an ironic-surreal combination of the preoccupation with portraits of human models and the sometimes very human faces of historical cameras. You can call them vintage surreal pop art.

„Symbionts“ have been realised with a reprographic, digital color halftone effect (see detail views).
