Everybody knows their pet is one of a kind–and they really are. To capture "who" their pet is, I have owner's tell me stories about them and these stories inspire my portraits. My last black lab, Captain Black(The Captain), never let a lake, pond, or watering hole, go by without his checking it out in person. I always kept at least two towels in the back of my minivan, just for wiping off the excess fun before driving home. :D There were two things I could always count on the Captain doing. That was one of them, but the other was farting all the time. They were always 'Silent Sliders' and had this uncanny way of slapping you in the face. LOL!
