This Artist Makes Humorous One-Panel Comics Without Using A Single Word (30 New Pics)
If you're a long-time Bored Panda reader, this Chilean cartoonist Karlo Ferdon is probably a familiar name to you. He creates wordless and minimalist, yet eloquent one-panel comics that, we believe, can make you smile.
The artist has previously told us that the ideas for illustrations come to him randomly but his 'secret' formula is "pretty much putting the characters in everyday situations and having absurd results with a touch of surprise."

I'm the one "singing". Anyone in earshot is the donkey. I wanted to sing quite badly. Believe me, I got my wish.
The artist has previously revealed to Bored Panda that he had fun creating comics from a very young age, so it comes as no surprise that his main influences are the comics he read as a child. “Comics such as the Peanuts, Calvin & Hobbes, Mampato, Condorito, and many more were the most memorable for me!”

"At the beginning, my works were published in press, local newspapers, and magazines. Little by little social networks also started to give artists more independence, and before I knew it there were Fotologs, Blogs, and now even Facebook and Instagram pages," the artist has previously shared with Bored Panda.

According to the experts, dogs recognize us as "other". Cats only meow at kittens too young to pick up the adults ' communication and human. To cats, then, we are dense kittens to whom they must use baby talk. Either that or soft can-openers. 😉

Personally, I think that it's because we have taught them to do it by responding to their meows. They continue with what works, meows, scratches, knocking things over... whatever gets our attention.

Maybe it's a genetic condition, and the kid fell into a life of crime due to the mask birthmark, and now it's going to backfire as he attacks his parents on their way to surprise him for his birthday? Or, those folks are going to a masquerade party, and coincidentally are about to cross paths with a guy who is uniquely prepared to relieve them of their piñata?

I see three siblings here... and a story about how their lives as children vs. adults went. The oldest (#1) always got preference growing up, but the youngest (#3) achieved success because they had to try harder. Or something.

That's not how siblings work. The oldest gets saddled with responsibilities without any praise for their efforts, while the youngest receives constant praise and gets everything laid out for them by everyone else.

The "arm rests" on the chair on the right look super uncomfortable. Same with the ones on the left. No slouching in those chairs. Not that slouching is good for your spine. *She says while having a rare moment of somewhat decent posture. I am a chronic sloucher, since around age 12. Horrible habit. Hard habit to break, especially after 28 years. Wow, that makes me feel quite old. I'm not that old (40).*

I'm no astrologist but I don't think that is how peep holes or telescopes work. Especially combined. Also, where the heck is his door kn0b? I only see the deadbolt (is that a term everybody knows? The boxy looking thing on the door, with the chain on it. Is it called something else outside of North America?).

I don't know if it was the intent here, but I took it as "roll your window down". Back in the days when most all windows were hand cranks and not electric, in context a twirling finger motion like that represented the way your hand moved while rolling down the window. Often more of a horizontal motion than straight up.
