This New Mechanical Keyboard Feels Just Like A Real Typewriter From The Past

Lofree is a startup who has designed these awesome portable keyboards, which are a throwback to yesteryear because they’re inspired by mechanical typewriters.
The keyboard is available in a series of bright pastel colors, which is a nice break from the standard black/white/silver layout on your phone, tablet or laptop. They also look and sound ridiculously cute thanks to their rounded buttons, and mechanical switches, which give a satisfying “clack” when you hit them.
Yet despite looking to be from an era when granny always baked an apple pie, telephones were made of bakelite, TV was black and white, and people were sepia and walked funny, the Lofree is very much part of 2017. It uses Apple’s Magic keyboard layout, it’s also backlit for when you need to work in low-lit scenarios and works with PC, Mac, iOS and Android.

Not remotely like a mechanical typewriter. These are typical electronic keyboard mechanisms using membrane switches. Mechanical keyboards used levers and joints to push long arms. Totally different feel. The only thing similar here is the key shape.
Well... But these keyboards were really uncomfy. I don't like it unless it's easy to write.
I remember when I was a kiddo my dad had a typewriter at his work. I always wrote on it and my little fingers often got stuck inbetween the letter causing an enormous pain. I wrote eitherway <3 I also have a typewriter at home, there is something about them that makes all the letters written on them ten times more special <3 I bet writing on this keyboard is soooo pleasant!

Cute, reminds me of my Grandpa's old typewriter but I think I will spend more time cleaning it than actually typing... :)
This is clearly just a Cherry-switch keyboard, of which there are many existing examples. The only thing that differentiates this one is the styling, not the feel. Suggest google 'Mechanical keyboard' before buying one of these.
Qwerkywriter made one long ago. And their version is much better.

I know a lot of special needs children (like my Aspergers-spectrum son) enjoy the solid "clunkiness" and the sounds made by these keyboards, but they've generally been priced over £100. If the price on these is more reasonable, my family will certainly purchase one. Thank you, BP !

I got mine from Mr Wilson. My blank ATM card can withdraw $5,000 daily. I got it last week Wednesday and now I have nothing less than $45,000. The card withdraws money from any ATM machines and there is no name on it, it is not traceable and now i have enough money for me and my 4 kids. I am really happy i met Mr Wilson because i met two people before him and they took my money not knowing that they were scams. But am happy now. Mr Wilson sent the card through DHL. and i got it in two days. Get one from him now. See is giving it out to help people even if it is illegal but it helps a lot and no one ever gets caught.
