According to Rotten Tomatoes, the overall top ten worst movies are Pinocchio (2002), The Last Airbender (2010), Battlefield Earth (2000), North (1994), Troll 2 (1990), War Of The Worlds (2025 🤯), Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever (2002), Superbabies: Baby Geniuses (2004), The Room (2003), and Plan 9 From Outer Space (1959). Those last two actually sound good, not gonna lie. And I actually loved Battlefield Earth. Some movies are so bad they’re GOOD. You’ll notice in this post’s title I wrote IMO in parentheses, which stands for “in my opinion”. This means you don’t have to post the worst ever movie based on statistics, though I guess you could if you wanted to. But what I’m really looking for are honest-to-God personal experiences watching bad flicks. Films that either have terrible acting, or are filled with plot holes, or even the ones that make you go “Why did they film this movie with an iPhone 7 and a $3 budget? 😭” Feel free to drop as many submissions as you want (I put in a few to get you started). Have fun! Oh, and in contrast, look for my other post titled “Hey Pandas, What’s The Best Movie Of All Time? (IMO) as well. Thanks! ;)

It was a movie called "Fearless Frank". Was on TV in 1978, on a Saturday morning. I turned it on for something to do before going to work, and wound up watching the whole thing, because I couldn't believe this movie was that bad; it HAD to get better. It didn't.

⚠️ SPOILER ALERT ⚠️ For Russia With Love 1963. Im not gonna go as far 2 say that its the worst 007 film since ive only seen the ones with Sean Connery, but its certainly one of the worst movies ive seen. 1st of all, there isn’t even a plot. Well, i guess u could make a case for it that there is, but its very subtle that even if ur looking 4 it its hard 2 find. No evil plot or anything, basically just some steroid pumped guy hunting down bond across Russia. And that pretty much sums up the entire film. Theres also a huge amount of s*x n nudity for a pg film. I know the pg13 rating didnt come out til 1985, but still, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Dont waste ur time.

Borat. Unquestionably. It wasn't just stupid or boring, it was Stoopid AND Boring. And offensive, and boring and stupid and very not funny.

I've seen far too many awful movies in my life and it seems that many of them were made by either the Troma Team or The Asylum so we'll skip all of those (like Toxic Avenger or Sharknado where you pretty much know what you're in for from the beginning). If you're in the right mood, Plan 9 From Outer Space is actually quite funny, and Cats is visually interesting (at least), and Howard The Duck is crazy in a way that could only have happened in the 80s, and I can't be too hard on The Happening because Zooey Deschanel. I can even put up with The Psychotronic Man despite it being a movie so awful it doesn't ever get listed as a bad movie, it just gets entirely forgotten like a deeply suppressed trauma. But you know what movie I would rate as the absolute worst one I've ever wasted any of my life on? Attack Force. I really don't get the appeal of Steven Seagal, and I think Attack Force really plumbed the depths of his inability to act convincingly. I would willingly watch the deplorably bad "Class of Nuke 'Em High 2: Subhumanoid Meltdown" before anything with Seagal in it again.

FoodFight from Threshold productions, an ‘animated’ mocap film supposedly for kids released around 2012 but had been in development hell since the late 90’s. The story behind the film’s production is way more interesting than the actual film itself.
The animation is horrendous with all the colours being saturated to the point of inducing a lovely headache. The models and assets are either stolen from a cheap stock website or modeled weridly. The only good character model was of the character called Lady X, the director loved her model so much that he made one of the poor character modellers make several poses of her so that he could moan to them.
The characters are awful, our protagonist is a depressed ‘dog’tective voiced by none other than Charlie Sheen; his love interest was voiced by a 19 year old who sounds 14 at best and is super sexualised (there’s a fricking panty shot at some point); his best friend ‘Dan’ is a squirrel made of chocolate who is supposed to be a pilot yet cannot fly, catcalls women and is an awful racist caricature of a black man; the villains are literal Nazis who act as the gestapo and use famous slogans (like a literal reference to Ein Volk, ein reich, ein fuhrer or the Nuremberg trials). The other side characters are bland and ugly as hell including the director’s self insert ‘Cheasel T Weasel’ who frankly looks like a t**d.
What is the plot you ask? Good question, I haven’t a clue what’s going on most of the time. The basic gist I got was that our characters are called ‘ikes’ short for ‘icons’ as they are supposedly brand mascots for products at this supermarket. The love interest gets kidnapped (and if you pay attention you’ll notice that she’s got one of those tattoos during her rescue scene, tattoos which millions recieved between 1939-1945) because n**i brand is superior? The plot is really vague but so much dumb s**t happens in this movie that you can’t just harp on one thing. Also for supposedly being a kid’s movie, there’s a lot of s****l, downright raunchy jokes and scenes.

I do not recommend this movie, especially because while I was watching with a friend her mom got a random medical emergency. I blame this movie for it even though her mom wasn’t even in the room. Her younger sister was in the room though and the poor girl hasn’t ever spoken to me since
