What are some of the dumbest things you've done in your lives?

I tried to cut my own bangs with kid scissors. Twice. Once when I was 12 and once when I was 13. Made the same mistake twice lol, almost tried to do it again but restrained myself :)
I thought it would be a good idea cause my 7th-grade self thought I looked good with bangs when I got them the first time (they were AWFUL) and tried to trim them. It did not go well, had to bobby pin them back for months until they grew back, still look bad.
MADE THAT TOO!! I was 6 and was like "I can do that must be easy what could go wrong mom will be so proud" yeah well no. And my teacher was like "well someone had a self made haircut yesterday! Interesting " Mind you, it was nail scissors … yeah, the one with curved blade. Probably doesn't exist now (wow feel so old RN lol)
I gave up three full rides, two mostly full rides, and second tier interviews with two ivy League colleges to go to a very expensive private college for a boy. A boy that I saw once during my four and a half years of college.
I wanted to have gogurt one night back when I was in middle school. Dad wasn't home, and mom was helping my brother with his homework, so I had the living room to myself. I tried to pull the tab, but it was too fat to the top and didn't get to the yogurt. Being the genius that I was, I looked at the tube and decided that the tear was close enough to the yogurt that if I squeezed it, the yogurt would break the rest of the seal keeping it inside. Well it didn't work. So I squeezed harder. It did eventually come out, but at such a speed I had to ask my mom to help me get strawberry yogurt off the walls and ceiling.
I've told this before but anyway.. My friend and I tried to holepunch my hair and it took a while for us to work out why it didn't work!
I was in a buffet, right, and i went to grab a little bowl, and dropped it. it was pretty loud, but no one payed it any attention, which i was greatful for. but when i went to pick it up again, i dropped it again, and again. even it just rolling around was super loud. by the time i had finally had it firmly in my hands, the entire dining room was staring at me.
😄 the way you describe it !! Felt like it was me 😅 at least like I was there…

Oh my god I top my stupidest thing every day. I'm like the king of stupid. The worst one recently was me trying to hop a fence with no prior knowledge of fence hopping because my overconfidence decided I could do it. Thankfully the only thing that got damaged was my hoodie sleeve (and my ego but that one recovers fast)
