Living in the Canadian Rocky mountains is very soothing. When I wake up in the morning I see that mountain from bed and is is lit up red from the sunrise. I never tire of the view. Great hiking, climbing, mountain biking, kayaking... All minutes away

Yes, in winter, when the cold air stays on the valley floor, the clouds stay low and "fill up" the valley. Because our house is at 1450m (4750ft) altitude we usually stay above and enjoy sunny days...

Neighbours can be a blessing but just sometimes, when there's that faaaaaantastic song and you turn up the volume and there's not a single person that can hear or complain. Your house looks very nice, tucked into the woods.

My favorite thing about my house is the family that lives there. I am stuck at home during the day since I am on disability and my favorite part of the day is when the family comes in and makes the house feel like a home. Fun note our pet toad talks to our autistic son. And it is fun hearing the toad vocalize when he hears my son laughing and playing.

My house reminds me of the one my father renovated. It also has the most functional, compact bathroom I've ever lived with - no wasted space, but not cramped either.
