Hey Pandas, What’s A Moment When Someone Realised You Spoke Their Language When They Were Insulting You?
A lot of people speak more than one language (43% of the world's population being bilingual). And sometimes people make the mistake of assuming you don't speak their language, so they can say some pretty cruel things thinking you won't understand them. Tell me about a time when you did understand and you flat out told them!

I used to work at a tapas resturant and so I got a few Spanish and Mexican guests. One day this guy came in, got mad that we didn't have what he wanted and called me a flithy b*tch in Spanish. I said in Spanish that I could bring out the manager if he liked.
The look on his face was perfect. Never seen someone look so embarrassed and shocked before.
I can't speak Japanese but I do understand it well. I was just feeding some pigeons on the street when an elderly lady came and started saying that pigeons are the incarnation of the devil and how messy and smelly and etc in full japanese. I said konichiwa and she quickly left me alone :D
