And why was it so bad?

The Mountain Between US and The Green Card equally.

In both movies the protagonists are not likeable, 2-faced and cheaters.

In The Mountain Between Us. It's about 2 people who just met at an airport and both have the same cancelled flights. The women has her wedding to go to. The man is a surgeon and needs to go to a surgery.
The gist of it all, the lady decides to get a flight with a small plane, since she appears to know the pilot. The pilot gets a heart attack midflight over the mountains and crashes on a peak.
Everyone survives except the pilot, but badly injured. The entire time the 2 people are arguing on what to do. Eventually they both agree to scale down the mountain to find civilization. They're arguing most of the time. Once they're in the cabin, you'll understand the title of the movie in a very suggestive way. Remember, the woman is about to get married. Why can't 2 people who've been in a plane wreck just focus on surviving without developing attraction to one another? I'm not going to give an ending spoiler but I will say there are 2 endings. The entire time watching this I was yelling at the characters to smarten up and calling them both cheaters. I don't think the man was single, either.

The Green Card. Basically, 2 people are scamming the green card program so the woman gets her penthouse with a greenhouse, that apparently requires her to be married, likely so she can afford the place. The French guy just wants to live in the USA permanently. I think he has a work VISA, or not. I think not, actually. They're not even attracted to each other. The woman has a boyfriend and she's keeping this scam marriage from his knowledge. The female protagonist is lying to her boyfriend, who is actually her Fiance, I believe, the management of the apartment, the immigration agency, and her friends. Just watching it and you're left waiting for their whole scheme to blow up and expose, which is the inevitable. The protagonists are not likeable, either.
