When was that huge Eastern Seaboard outage? 2003 or '04? I was off duty and enjoying a well- lubricated brunch with a friend. The power went out, and it didn't take her 30 seconds to say, "We'd better go get a bunch of ice!"

Washington DC. When my old crush Id kept in touch with for about a decade comes to visit me an entire week. July- DC…. Not pleasant humidity. Even more stupid I lived in these new upscale apartments half the building had power back within a day the other half lost it for a week. The hall outlets still worked though maybe on the larger apartment grid ? Idk but I got two 25 ft extension cords and a fan so at least we had Wi-Fi, a fan, and a fridge. Still uncomfortable. Didn’t work out in long run but fun week doing DC stuff and hiking.

I remember when some people lost power during the ice-poclypes in texas and quite a few people lost power for a long time

All the electricity turned off for some reason, and we had to turn every electric plug/switch off until it worked. Turned out the hob got water in and we had to use a temporary gas stove until we could get a new one.

MIne is when we had like 20-30 mile wind in Jarrell and our power went out 2 ding dang times in like the span of an hour i believe. Jarrell doesn't have the best power supply no offence.
