One time during Halloween me and my friends (this was back in middle school ) pranked my BFF’s crush by tying a fake fabric-made ghost on his back. We had no idea if it could work, but he really freaked when he realized a dark shadow was stalking him all the way down the street during trick-or-treating.
(Yes we were actually going to trick-or-treating despite being 14 )
Because it was dark he didn’t see the yarn string connecting the ‘ghost’ and his costume, nor did he see the helium balloon inside the fake Dementor.
He ran down three blocks with people gawking at him, screaming. Plus, he didn’t believe us when we told him the ghost was fake until his best friend cut the yarn and waved the dumb thing in his face.
