My favorite family tradition... we gather the week before Christmas and bake all sorts of cookies, and every year we get less and less traditional in the decorating... we have aliens and Darth Vader and Yeti cookies.

tip for the frosting (mainly the gift boxes and sweaters): allow the fist layer to fully harden (you can put it in the fridge and it will harden in a few minutes, ~10 not in the fridge) and the white won't bleed into the other colors, and you will have nice crisp lines. :)
