This looks so good. I made one similar to this 20 years ago....it was delicious but I have never made it again because it was so much work!

Yeah, it took me a few hours, baking the cake and doing the different layers (there's another layer of peach puree on the inside) and letting them cool. It was already 10pm when I put the glaze on top.

No, actually far from it, in northern Germany. XD The middle layer is whipped cream with a bit of vanilla. And there's another layer of peach puree on the inside.

Nah, I bake for fun and to relax or when I'm depressed. Wouldn't want to spoil it by turning it into another job. I'm a graphic designer and illustrator working as a full-time UX/UI/2D artist for a gaming company. That's enough. :)

I merged several recipes into one and I only have it in German at the moment. But I could translate it sometimes and post it on my insta if I find the time. In the meantime, google "Solero cake" and you should find plenty of similar recipes. :)

Didn't mean to post twice. Had a baking marathon last night. Started with a double recipe for yeast bread. Made one loaf & tried making cinnamon rolls with the rest of the dough. They taste better than they look. While oven was still hot I whipped up banana bread. Ended up giving half of the baked goods to family & a neighbor today. Am nibbling on the rest. ;--)
