While I am not big on the movie I loved that song a lot. Also the one sung by Luisa, the older sister.
A fortune teller/prophet/seer etc only tells the future with no control over it the same way a scientist states facts rather than pass his own opinion as truth. Whereas it would be a different story if Bruno actually controls the future. Besides the existence of fortune tellers that actually can tell the future is proof their universe is predetermined.
