Too many times! Lots of Fun! I've actually achieved clinical death a few times as well (heart stopped and no breathing). Not fun!
Oh, I'd still be doing stupid things if it weren't for my wife!
Load More Replies...I was living in a pretty bad apartment area. There was a grassy area in between the buildings. The back of the units butted up on either side of the grass. I was out one night with dog. As the dog was watering the grass i glanced around at the back of the other apartments. I noticed one was empty and someone left the window blind up. I was standng about 20 feet away from the window. As i looked in a man popped up inside. He looked right at me and grinned. It wasnt even a scary grin. It lacked any kind sanity and humanity. He moved towards the back door. I scooped up my dog and ran to my place expecting the mad man killing me. Nothing happened. I called the police and they didnt find anything.
I wasn't that close to dying, but it really felt like it. I had a seizure, my mom called 911. I woke up to two men picking me up and putting me on a stretcher. I had no idea what was going on, and I honestly thought I was really hurt because I had such bad amnesia that I didn't know where I was, and I didn't remember getting out of my bed that morning. It was Christmas.
Oh that sucks. Same vibes as me nearly bleeding out on my last birthday. Makes for a very funny but kinda sad story
oh jeez that's terrible! And it's definitely a funny story now lol

I've cheated death a strange amount for someone my age, but the biggest one was last summer when I was up on a slope above a concrete staircase. The slope was pretty much vertical and there was a ~5 foot drop to the staircase, all concrete. I had climbed up the slope to pick blackberries and was on my way down when the tree branch I was using for balance snapped and I slid maybe 6 feet almost vertically and actually slipped off the ledge, but I caught myself and got out with a small bruise on my arm and a tiny scratch. And blackberries. I will never learn my lesson
