Hey guys! As of lately, I've been feeling really bad about myself. For context, I'm in middle school, and I do get made fun of quite a lot. I wear a lot of really weird things. I love big poofy kawaii dresses, cat ears, lots of lace and bows, and maid dresses. And on top of that, I'm a metalhead. I get called kinky all the time (even though I try to be as sfw as I can), I get called a furry basically every single day, and I just get a ton of mean comments at school in general. And of course, it's not because of anything serious. I could easily make it all stop by just acting like a normal person, but I just refuse. I am not, and I will never be willing to change, so do I really deserve this?

You are awesome and know yourself so be you!!! I know it’s hard but who cares what anyone thinks. Normal is boring. Don’t change for anyone.

No one deserves to be made fun of. It takes a lot of courage to step outside the norm and dress/behave in a way that no one else does. That is something to be proud of. Be true to yourself because you will be a lot happier that way than lying about what you like and who you really are just to please other people. You are beautiful and brave. Don't let anyone tell you anything different.

You do you!! If it makes you happy and it’s who you are comfortable being, stay true to yourself. I was awkward and shy in middle and high school. As I’ve gotten older I realized that the more I stay true to who I am and what I want, the more real and honest my life is. Take pride in yourself and love every unique thing about yourself! If other people tease or bully you, they are not people worth your time. Be resilient!!
