Harry Potter Fan Paints First Page Of “Sorcerer’s Stone” Onto Her Wall
What can you accomplish in 60+ hours? Learn calculus. Read the Harry Potter series in its entirety. Or paint the first page of Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone on your wall. The final item in this list is what avid Harry Potter fan and published author Meredith McCardle decided to undertake, believing that it would be a fun weekend project. 60+ hours over three week later, this past Monday, McCardle finished this Herculean task.
McCardle told Huffington Post that she originally planned to paint a French poem on the wall, but “[a] friend pointed out that one, I don’t speak French, and two, I’m not a poet, so she encouraged me to pick something a little more personal,” she said. As someone who writes that “Harry Potter is a religion” on her Twitter profile, the next-best choice was obvious!
As for the challenges? “The hardest part was keeping the projector straight,” McCardle told Bored Panda. “I had to redo the first paragraph because it was crooked, and from that point on, I had to measure line by line and adjust the projector as I go.”

Share on FacebookIt looks cool, but this page is just about the dursleys... lol. Not my favourite family. Maybe a favourite page or a page from a favourite scene?
I know this might strike some as obsession, but I'm enough of a Harry Potter fan to think this is just brilliant.
I like it though the OCD in me is suggesting that the fourth line drops in the middle of the word strange.
Years ago I wanted to do something similar by writing the words to Shel Silverstein's poem "Overdue" on my library door. When I checked with the publishers legal dept., they said absolutely NOT- it was against their copyright.
For everyone asking why she chose that page.... it's because her wall, and for her the first page of the book was significant to her. If she was paid to paint it on your wall, then it would be your place to question her choice of text. This was her wall, her choice, and that is sufficient explanation. Did you paint a cooler passage from Harry Potter on your wall? NO. YOU DID NOT.
She probably wanted to show that that page is the start of them all.
Load More Replies...I would make maybe research, and try to find some better page or beginning of chapter, cause this is like reading about the Dursleys every day. Otherwise I like :)
Why did you say the same thing so many times
