To take these pictures I used light painting and gadgets I mostly made by myself.

I worked on my first gadget, called Dreammaker (the ring with crystals), for about a year to make it light and more or less good looking. Some gadgets, like UV filter with vaseline, didn't take so much time to make!

The woman is pretty. I don't think that DIY does much tho, just is like a mirror.

Never. Never. Never put any kind of goop directly onto your equipment!!! For the love of god use cling film or a piece of hard clear plastic much larger than your lens held in front of it. this is just all the nope's I posses!!

I don't really like the effect in this one. But still, the DIY is really worth it! You could use it in other photos to. Awesome 👏🏼

I sticked a led rgb light strip to aluminum tube, connected it with a power supply. Then you can just paint whatever you want with it using bulb mode and freeze model with a speedlight at the end. Also if your light strip is in rgb mode changing colours, you can paint a rainbow:)

Wow, how ingenious! I'm sending this along to a photography buff friend of mine. Can't wait to see what she'll do with props like these. Thanks for a great idea.

Naomi: Many of these are same device, different colored beads or different placement of the device. It's interesting & helpful to see them all.
