When I was working in a pet store, we found empty bags of 5 kg dogfood at some point... makes you wonder.. how?
Customer snacked as they shopped. :)
The customer turned out to be three dogs in a trench coat
lmao good one
If I saw someone stealing animal food, diapers or baby stuff I would have a very hard time not just letting it slide. I don't know if I could live with that on my conscience, that animals or children were in need. I know there are probably other things they could have done besides stealing it... But still.
I'd report it to animal control. If they're having to steal for the pet... chances are solid other care is inadequate as well. Also, Ianthe, probably by pouring them into a backpack. in highschool, I worked at Sam's Club and our club's asset protection people liked to post pictures of non-employee thieves (wouldn't want us getting ideas,) they had caught. One lady managed to stuff a pair of thirty-inch CRT televisions into a pack so that it looked like a very large pregnant-lady-belly.
Perhaps someone slowly emptied the bag into smaller bags? Only way I can think of it.
One time like last year this girl stole another girls necklace from her locker in the girls' locker room and she was already shady enough and everytime someone asked her where she got it she'll say "forever 21" or "hot topic" and the AP(assistant principal) for our grade pulled up a video of her stealing it the AP got fired because A VIDEO CAMERA in A LOCKER ROOM(child porn) she got fired, I think arrested too turns out she had it in the girls bathroom too, which I'm pretty sure all schools do but they can't put them in restrooms/locker rooms
Nice username
Thanks!
Some people just think they are entitled to steal what they can. It is a disgusting attitude.
While others do it to survive. (Not justifying stealing here, but some people really are that desperate, and others are just selfish)
Yeah, some steal to survive, some for profit, others for thrill, and others more for who knows what reason (kleptomania, self-entitlement, the need to "be bad and cool" etc.) Besides that, I'm afraid the profit missed might be deducted from a worker's salary in the end. But if you have a situation where one is forced to steal to eat, wear proper (NOT fancy) clothes, keep themselves (or their children) warm, clean and healthy... Instead of simply accusing the thief, we should all find ways to make a better society where such things are not needed. And changes like these take time and collective effort.
If people do have to steal some food to survive I wouldn't mind. But there are people who steal for profit. In the end the paying customers end up paying for the stolen goods. Every store has a margin on their prices to cover for stolen goods. In the end, we all pay for criminals by insurance premiums and higher prices in stores.
Often times, drug addicts will steal items to sell to feed their drug habit.
Yes, some do it to survive and I would never judge them.- but those people are not who I am talking about. I have known many people who steal. I once knew a guy who would nick a car just because he didn't want to walk home,

But stealing is still stealing! Regardless if it’s to survive. Get a job and earn money to buy stuff you need to survive.
