Stranger Kept Blocking This Guy’s Parking Space With His Car, So He Used His Mechanic Skills To Hide It
We can’t avoid inconsiderate drivers on the road or in public parking garages, but when we get home to an apartment building the one thing we hope we can rely on is having a spot waiting for us. Well, this was not the case for one Australian redditor.
In his post, the disgruntled car owner explained that an annoying trend was starting to occur of a strange car being left in his reserved parking place. Determined to find a resolution he tried several peaceful tactics but nothing worked, so he decided to take matters into his own hands. Scroll down below to check the true story on how this fed-up redditor finally got revenge on a careless car owner.

Stuff like this really irks me! I live in a block of flats near to a primary school, the parking for my building is round the back, there is a long driveway from the street running along the side of the building to the car-park out back, EVERY.SINGLE.MORNING when i pull onto the driveway there is some a*****e parent parked across the driveway, which means i have to sit there and wait until they go back to their car so i can leave. it's pretty petty i know but it really grips my s**t every time! to avoid this i either have to leave early enough to miss the rush and be half hour early to work (not a chance!) or leave after the rush and get to work a few mins late because of these inconsiderate bellends. just get up and ready a few mins earlier, park further out and walk your kids in! why do you have to land right on my doorstep to be as close as possible to the school you lazy motherfudgers?! I love to edge my 12 yr old car out enough to be almost touching their brand new cars.
That is soooo rude!! I'm a mum and I'd never ever park across someone's driveway, that's just c**p.
Load More Replies...As someone who has paid for parking that other people constantly take I find this great!
By the downvoted I guess people think I should pay for my parking spot in my building and happily let others take it...
Load More Replies...This is probably the best prank/revenge story I've ever read!!! Totally effective, funny, and neither dangerous or illegal, and certainly not petty. But I just gotta know, where the hell does he live to have 2 parking spaces per apartment? Because I live in Melbourne Australia, and in the city you are lucky if an apartment has any parking space at all, these days most of the buildings they build have say 100 apartments and 40 parking spaces.
Does that count as auto theft though? I hope not bc the jerk deserved that
They didn't actually take the car. They just shifted it to a more convenient spot...for them.
Load More Replies...My mum was trying to pull out of a parking space at the mall on Black Friday and some idiot woman parked her truck at the end of a row (where there is no parking spot), which left us with very very very little room to manoeuvre out of the space. To make it worse, the woman was sitting in the drivers seat on her phone while we were trying to get out and didn't even have the decency to pull ahead. Lucky we were able to get out despite that... and yes my mum middle fingered her as we were leaving
Clueless woman: Is she flipping the bird at me? What is her problem? People are so rude!

Great work- no one should question your right of where to park your car re your two spaces- those two are yours by way of your parking and living arrangement and even if you had no car at all no one else can just decide to park there without your permission- you don't have to explain yourself. Loved the way you handled it.
Wow! Thanks for the animation, cz I didnt understand at first! I can imagine the Jackass was so f*****g confused, wondering how the hell did his car get moved there! I never knew about these Vehicle Positioning Jacks! Bravo!
This was an ingenious problem to such a horrible nuisance. I don't get how a person continually chooses to park their car stupidly even after having been given so many notes about it. Good job!
Welll done... At my previous apartment buiding it happend quiet a lot that a******s parked on my spot were I paid a lot for....
Someone used to park at a buildings loading dock where my husband worked next to at a body shop. People do s******g parking to get the train by them all the time. The loading dock was for a meat packing company. So they see the car blocking the dock an ask my husband to help. They get the wheel jacks and rolled it into the road and left it where it wouldn't get hit but would get towed for illegal parking. Cops came n called a tower an it was gone. Sad that people think their car will be where they scammed a spot to park when they come back from the city. Talking fairfield to nyc train stops. People used to walk through the shop lot in the mornings too when my husband was moving cars an yell at him to watch out. They put a gate up so when they started to walk down they would have to go up back to the street to go around the corner. I have even seen the people across the street from the shop park in the lot and cross the road and go into their houses.
Amazing! What I manage to think in this situation, is only to flat his tires. And if this will not help - flat them again, but with superglue in the tire nipples. But this weas very educational punishment.
I would have pushed obnoxious jackass' car, then gotten mine out, pushed obnoxious jackass' car back and parked in front, and wouldn't have used my car in two weeks. See how obnoxious jackass' likes being blocked, and if they found me and complained, I'd have called the cops.
My dad was taking me and my brothers to meet my mom at the movies, we were seeing Rocky (this was very long ago). My dad was having a hard time finding parking & when he found a spot where a car was pulling out, he put his blinker on to indicate he was waiting for the spot. Before he could pull in a little MG zipped into the spot. My dad told the young driver that he was waiting on the spot & the guy just shrugged & kept walking. My dad sat there for a minute w/a look in his eye the we all knew meant he had an idea. He said, "Boys, I'm going to drop you off so you can find your mom & I'll find a parking spot." We did just that. The movie was almost over when he sat with us. My mom was trying to figure out what had happened & my dad wouldn't say anything. When we walked to the car we passed the MG, up on blocks, all 4 tires gone. My dad just said to the guy, "Looks like you got a problem." My mom knew what happened at that point. The tires were in a ditch behind the mall.
My dad finished a mechanical highschool back in the days and a similar thing happened to him. He engaged his class to dismantle the car and put it back together between 4 trees in the backyard. We are talking about Fiat 126P if anyone is curious. It was years and years ago. After the owner went out to seek a lumberjack to free his car, they moved it to a free parking spot. He never took an "owned" one again.
either he figured to get the same movable jacks, or he did a lot of little inch by inch micro turns to get out of that
OK, Nicely done and very clever. However, here is how he got out. With a foot in front and a foot in back, he backed up, turned the wheels a couple of inches and repeated a dozen times. It can be done. How.? I saw a video from Peru where a dual axle truck was stuck in a perpendicular position to the road and a CLIFF. He inched it out by never letting the real wheel of a dual axle rear end go over the edge.. check it out on you tube...amazing. Oh, had you though of putting some orange cones in your spot? So if he moves them has has committed to admitting he is sneaky. Or maybe a lockable spike strip at the front of the space.
I'm so happy he got his revenge, wish I could see the guys face when he sees his car there
This is really good! One of my biggest pet peeves is a*****e park jobs.
IV always been a fan of what some mates of mine did a few years ago when they got blocked in by a d******d in a public car park parking where there wasn't a legitimate marked space. The lift was wide enough to get the car into it and they moved it up and outside and pushed it across the whole car park dam near 3/4 of a mile from where it was parked originally. Or one I know of from years and years back where the twat in questions car ended up on the roof of a two storey barracks.
Those jacks work wonders in a crowded shop. Bonus tip for those without access to them. The same can be done with 4 plastic lunch trays, your jack from your car, a few mates and dish soap or other lube. Jack the offenders car up, place the trays under the wheels and then lube the path. You won't be able to dance it around as much but you will be able to get the car out of the way.
BEWARE OF REVENGE FOR YOUR REVENGE....the a*s is inconsiderate enough to do this, especially since you took international credit for it
I was going to ask how they got the tires into the jacks, but then I noticed you just have to get the rollers under the tire and the hydraulics pull them together to lift the car ...
This all made me extraordinarily happy. I love it when people get their just desserts.
Saw the diagram of how his car & neighbour's cars supposed to park. Since he also has two car spaces, why didn't he just park his own car at the front spot & leave the back spot empty. When his mate comes over, all he needs is to reverse his car to the back spot for his friend to park in the front, and move it back to the front spot when his friend leaves. Leaving the front spot empty is just inviting trouble from dickheads like this one.
Because from time to time, he let friends park in his spot when he wasn't using it or didn't need his car.
Load More Replies...This guy was actually pretty patient. In my country, if something like that happened to a guy, he would likely hide somewhere and wait for the car owner to show up, then would beat the s**t out of him. Such is the temperament of most people here including mine, really, although the only time I've beaten someone was a boy in the kindergarten who wouldn't stop abusing me and a student, who I elbowed really hard after he pushed me so hard I almost fell because he and his friend thought it was a great idea to play pushing in the narrow school corridor. Both were quite surprised by my nerve, for most girls would simply walk away, looks cast down. But both of them caught me on a bad day.
Not sure why the down votes. Here in Bulgaria, he would have probably got an axe or a pickax in his hood or front glass.
Load More Replies...What a clever way to get even! Reminds me of when I was a kid in Spain decades ago out on a double date with some Spanish boys in their little car; couldn't find a proper parking spot so we girls got out and the boys lifted the car into a tiny spot.
that towing company was lame. Most tow trucks will have a lift bar on the back that can lock into the wheels and drag it out of a space, where they then load it onto the flat bed or dolly the back-side wheels. An industrious tow driver would be able to get two cars that way. (actually... once, I saw our service's driver show up six Car2Go-liveried smart cars on the flat bed. he snagged our offending car with the lift bar+dollies.)
Simple solution? Park in the middle of the 2 parking spaces perhaps?
Nope, because it's vandalism and you could be charged for that. His solution was the best.
Load More Replies...Why to actually be a petty child he was mature about it and didn't do any damages. Thats damage to his car if they sit just on the rims because there isn't air the rims will warp and get ruined by the direct weight. You clearly are unaware of basic car facts aren't you?
