I know that younger generations have totally different ideas then mine. ( I'm only 42) but is it wrong of me to think kids need rules, boundaries and to not be babysat by electronics when there 2???

I’m 39 and believe it’s very important to have monitored screen time at any age. Sure, they are opportunities for learning on a tablet and some tv shows but it creates bad habits in them especially at such a young age. I know my 9 year old’s behavior changes drastically when she’s spent too much time on her tablet. It’s bad for their eyes, mental health, it decreases their attention span, creates an over active brain, can cause bad sleeping habits, poor posture… the list is endless. Rules and boundaries are what keep our kids safe and help them to become good people. I’d like to know more information about the situation that made you ask this question.
