“I try to visit him once a week,” Jennifer Barclay told Good Morning America. “On a normal visit, we have a cup of tea and a catch up. I just filmed him because I loved his reaction to seeing me.”
My wee Grandad, 87 years young and he’s my no.1 guy💕 I love him with all my heart. And I love recording his reactions when I come to visit. I hope everyone can appreciate the video I’ve made as much as I do👴🏻💕xoxo pic.twitter.com/4XK4TEBctQ

My Grandma used to wait at the door until I came back from work. She used to welcome me back so lovingly...... Wish I took a similar pic of her.....😌😌😞
Awww just so gorgeous! Your grandpa is so adorable! :D I miss my grandparents so much <3
reminds me of the love my grandpa have for his grand kids. Thank you for sharing this. <3
One of my grandparents died before I was even born, and the others were all gone by the time I was 14. I love what this woman has with her grandfather. It's a beautiful thing, truly.
So sweet it brought tears to my eyes... My Pepere had the gift of making all of us grandkids feel like we were "his favorite". . It's something that I wish my son had... a grandfather who really cares. Unfortunately my Dad is a stingy narcissist and my husband's father died decades ago. Instead, We created our chosen family- friends who have always been there for my son, while his biological grandfather was busy being his stinkin selfish self, no matter how much we tried to connect. (He certainly made a good example of what not to do)
I wish I had a granddad like this, and not the one I was given, I sometimes want to go visit an old people's home and adopt the awkwardist granddad there lol.. you are lucky tc xx
Frog! You should do that very thing! My husband works in a retirement complex. I met him while working in the nursing home there. Even though it is a high end establishment there are so many people who would love to have someone sit and talk with, play cards with or take out for lunch. So precious!
Load More Replies...I hope this reminds people that you don't have your grandparents or parents in your life forever...cherish it...when I see kids being little jerks to their grandparents I want to shake them and tell them how much they will miss them when they are gone!!!
