I Create Miniatures, And Here Are 9 Tiny Suitcases Representing Book Characters That I Love
Hi Pandas! My name is Matilde (aka lavorettilibrosi) and here are some of my miniature suitcases (scale 1:12) inspired by book characters that I love. I work hard on the details of my miniatures and I really enjoy making them.
You can find my other minis on Instagram at lavorettilibrosi.

Load More Replies...Yes yes yes!!!! I love her, my favorite character!!! Gorgeous work!!!
I've always been fascinated and impressed by the art of miniatures, and yours are especially brilliant and lovely. The level of detail right down to the gauge of yarn used for the scarf is amazing.
Harry Potter's Suitcase
From Harry Potter.
How adorable! I think the only thing missing is the Golden Snitch!
I would be concerned if he carried that around tho...
Load More Replies...So cute! I love the little box of Bernie Bot's Every Flavour Beans and the tiny Marauder's Map.
Wednesday's Suitcase
Hercule Poirot's Suitcase
I love this one! Wax for his famous mustache and the cocoa he drinks in the morning. All it needs is a tisane to make it perfect.
Actually, they also need to straighten up the cocoa and cigar boxes, they're not symmetrical!!!
Load More Replies...Arthur Dent's Suitcase
From Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
You have to wait for the question before you answer.
Load More Replies...I love the little New York Times Newspaper that says "Goodbye, and thanks for al the fish" in Italian.
I love the cup of liquid that is most likely almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea,
The taste of dried leaves boiled in water? It is a tricky thing
Load More Replies...Elizabeth Bennet's Suitcase
from Pride and Prejudice.
I must have my share in the conversation if you are speaking of music. There are few people in England, I suppose, who have more true enjoyment of music than myself, or a better natural taste. If I had ever learnt, I should have been a great proficient.
Load More Replies...Except they didn't use suitcases. They used steamer trunks, train cases, and satchels
Snow White's Suitcase
Gian Burrasca's Suitcase
The main character of a famous Italian children's book, "Il Giornalino Di Gian Burrasca"
These were very beautiful, you must have insanely good eyesight and hand-eye coordination to be able to make such small things! I think my favourite is probably Alice's, but all of them are very impressively detailed. Keep it up, I hope to see more sometime!
I have bad eyesight, bad hand eye coordination and very shaky hands, but I make miniatures as well! It's mostly just about patience and at least some equipment (magnifying glass, different tweezers to hold the miniatures etc) my miniatures are usually in 1:100 scale, and although I probably spend a lot more time doing them than someone with good eyesight and steady hands would, I absolutely love it
Load More Replies...These would be impressive if full-sized. That they're created in miniature takes them to a whole other level. Bravo!
These are incredible! Do you make the suitcases too, or just the stuff that goes in them?
Thank you! For the suitcases I use little tin boxes
Load More Replies...It's mainly a hobby, but sometimes I sell some pieces! You may find more info on my insta page @lavorettilibrosi
