In this case, I really don't think this person is planning to attend the wedding as shown. Her question is about the appropriateness of the dress length, so she took a photo showing that length on her frame, while also covering up to protect her privacy and comfort, limiting how much of her body is shown to strangers online. How unfortunate that the result was being mocked by strangers online! There's nothing terrible about the dress itself (could use a bit of fitting, perhaps), as long as she plans on a more suitable wrap in case of chills.
