The Internet Is In Absolute Chaos After The Midterms, And These 40 Meltdowns Take The Crown
The 2026 midterm elections swept through the United States with unexpected results. People hoped for a blue wave, but what they’ve got instead was a blue tsunami. The Democratic Party won clear majorities in both the Senate and the House of Representatives, with 54 and 253 seats, respectively.
People celebrated that Texas turned blue for the first time since 1988 and that the current administration might finally be held accountable for some of their questionable policies.
But not everyone was happy with these results: many right-wing voters were dejected, disappointed and heartbroken. Others had proper meltdowns, many of which were hilariously funny. Bored Panda rounded up the wildest and funniest crashouts from Republicans that people shared in an online thread after one netizen asked, “Please show me the best right-wing meltdowns you’ve seen.”

I have heard SO many wanting to hurl themselves off a cliff with Abdul El-Sayeds (Michigan) win. "Kinda bad at math then?"..."WHAT?".."There are currently 5 Muslim adherents in Congress, and with El-Sayed's win in the Senate, that'll make 6"...,so the math is 529 to 6, the likelihood of women being forced to wear a hijab or abaya is dismally low".
The post right above this one in my feed.
This one cracked me up.
A) Apparently, Brian knows nothing about Canada, B) including the fact that we don't want him.
Ironic that people claim voter fraud when they lose, but ignore the most blatant example of this crime... "You need to find 11,000 votes". And in Michigan, a house member removed a voting machine in 2020 after the election and took it to a downstate hotel room to "look for irregularities".She is no longer in the Michigan house.
Some people are still struggling with the idea of population density.
As a lifelong Californian, I am delighted to have our first Latino governor! Latinos have long been a majority of the backbone of what makes California... well, California! XD We have a huge agricultural history, and historically it's been Mexican and other Latino immigrants and migrants who work the fields. Over half of our current farmworkers are Mexicans and Central Americans. 70-96% of California janitorial and domestic cleaning workers are Mexican/Latino. 83% of our construction laborers are Mexican/Latino. My family has owned a housecleaning business for 33 years, and we've never had a single white person even apply for a job cleaning (other white people's) houses. Hell, I'm white af but was adopted at birth into a Mexican family! Any white Califronian who shíts on brown people as inferior or demands that they all be deported... what color is your gardener's skin, my friend? Do you have a maid/housecleaner? What color is their skin?
This texas house rep that admitted the republican party has been running the state like a dictatorship.
That "thump, thump, thump" you hear is Ann Richards rolling in her grave.
This one is one of my faves so far.
ahh the right wing go to position when you try to stop them doing something evil... civil war.
Very small effect. Folks are tired of all the self-aggrandizement, and trying to convince you that you did not see or hear what you saw and heard.
Cows, bees, fields and such can’t vote - I’m danish and I know that.
Yes, but those who rely on cheap labor can...S. Texas shows that quite well.
From a right wing substack saying "all the good guys lost".
I love those extremely based punk goblins & their drag queen friends
"Congress shall enact no law regarding the establishment of religion, nor the free exercise thereof" was the very first thing they wrote down...seems important.
This one was so close to getting it.
Literally any of Laura Loomers posts in the last 24hrs.
She is making videos about fighting muslims. Its actually really disturbing.
Lost her mind real quick. I’ve never even met her in person. She’s married to an old friend of my brothers.
I suspect that the true followers of Christ were out in force. The people who care before it hits their wallet. Those that have actually read the gospel.
What do I think? I think that maybe, just maybe we (the world) managed to get a few more seconds further away from midnight...
As a Canadian, I am relieved, and cautiously optimistic that we may now see some reason and common sense in our two nations' interactions over the next couple of years (though I still wouldn't consider attempting to visit across the border myself). I have to say, though, US-based Pandas, I remain very, very worried for your country, and for all of us as a result. You still live among people like those above. Their ignorance and insanity still drives much of your politics. And the Democrats need to move very, very carefully as they balance the power they have gained and the needs of now with strategizing the next election cycle.
