Of course, we all know that memes aren’t technically an official love language. There are five of those, by the way, in case you’ve forgotten. And they go beyond romantic relationships too. We can use them to show love to anyone in our lives.
Words of affirmation is about showing love through compliments and encouragement. Quality time means giving someone your full attention and doing things together. Gifts are about thoughtful gestures that show appreciation.
Acts of service means helping out and making someone’s life a little easier. And physical touch covers things like hugs, holding hands and all the other ways we connect physically.
The time of year where you see both people in a winter jacket and in T-shirt & shorts
But think about it. When you send a funny picture to your friend or significant other with the caption “us,” you’re doing more than just sharing a laugh. You’re telling them that something reminded you of them, that you understand them well enough to know they’d find it funny.
That kind of thoughtfulness is really no different from any other way we show the people in our lives that we care. So honestly, sending memes really is its own kind of love language at this point.
And you're late for school! But it's Saturday, and also you're 40...
Relationships counsellor Louise Tyler explained to Stylist how memes can actually serve as digital hugs for our closest people when they need it most. She described sending memes as what therapists call “warm fuzzies.”
These are small gestures between people that communicate something along the lines of “I see you and you matter to me.” Tyler pointed out that in the past, these gestures might have been compliments or small thoughtful gifts.
But today, sending a meme can have the exact same effect. According to her, it all comes down to small moments of real human connection that come with a boost of oxytocin, which is the bonding hormone sometimes called the “love hormone.”
Doctors are exposed to it way more often than the average patiant. Even if you had to get an xray once every month, you should be finde. Those doctors however may have to do that to different patiants 20 times a day. If they would not cover, they would get sick really fast.
I know! It's like when I'm in line at the grocery store, make a joke, the person behind me laughs, jumps on board w/follow up, you both laugh - and for a fleeting second, you both are quiet and like in 1st grade, you wanna say "do you want to be my friend"?.. but you don't, because you're an adult, and being an adult suck$.
I'm currently struggling with the local representative of the second-person personal pronoun, singular.
Me, whenever I accidentally use a drop of retinaldehyde/AHA+BHA more than usual: "Oh, so it's like that, is it? I hate you. You'll be flaking like a lizard from now on. But since I don't hate you THAT much, no adult acne for you on THIS side. Let's review the wrinkles topic next time. "
Or a cat appears and decides it wants to be fed now. Just after I fed one of the others and said cat was no where to be found.

You hear about how Harry got all upset that his British Security Team would no longer be paid for, after all, they now live here in the USA. They don't seem gracious and never give off the kind of dignity Queen Elizabeth always did, may G*d rest her soul. BUT THEN you see your president making loads of money based on whether he's going to b**b Iran or not despite media not really tracking where the money is going, and you think, at least the current King and Queen have some class and aren't telling their subjects that they're terrible people who deserve to be in jail.
