FRIENDS fans would remember the episode about Rachel Green’s 30th birthday party. Everyone else recalled the moment when they officially left their twenties, but it was Joey Tribbiani who felt most distraught.
Being in their thirties seems to be a significant period in people’s lives, so much so that there is a dedicated Instagram page about it. We’ve collected these funny yet painfully relatable images from Sarah Pilger’s account, which is filled with posts about handling alcohol, dealing with conflict, and the joys of staying in.
If you’re of age, these posts will likely hit home for you.

Idk, did the media call her fat? She's curvey and was always funny. My favorite film of hers is Pret A Porter.
Up to a point: but the reality is that while you may feel that the work you and the real you are separate, the rest of the world just sees you.. If you go posting heinous bigoted stuff on social media, your colleagues will see it and not feel comfortable working with you, and if customers see it they may feel the same.
The ducks in my life are usually in a row. That is, "row" as in "a serious dispute or a loud noise or uproar."
I hear you and agree. Whereas I spent much of my childhood shoveling manure and throwing hay bales back on the farm. For no pay or allowance.
Not the same thing. Men in the middle of wars wanted reassurance themselves.
The social equivalent of a network ping to verify that a node is online. I send Momma (86) a text every morning and ask if she'd like some coffee and breakfast.
Or, how about the fact that we are *14* years away from the centenary of the start of ww2.
My Dad used to say "I only want 10 cents more than I can spend. I can spend a hell of a lot but at least I'll have 10 cents when all is said and done."
And if they don't say thank you, I'll condescendingly say, You're Welcome.
I gotta ditch the money condoms, just start rawdoggin’ it
Same holds true for Dish bills, cell plans, etc.. "Well hell, if you'da done that before, we wouldn't be having this conversation...WOULD WE!"
I used to worry they'd notice like if I wore the same shirt twice in a row. Then I realized I never notice if they do, so no.
Vegas. Impossible now. Max payout is like $10000 on slots and $20 on a table? Maybe one chip. Maybe
The one I like best is the pic of Mom appearing to exotic dance. Mom had to explain to the teacher she worked at Lowes, and during a snow storm they had a run on shovels. Pic was Mom holding a shovel with people around her with cash in hand.
One year my husband and I decided to get a card table and 4 folding chairs for our anniversary gift and it was the best.
At my little village when we sit at the outdoor tables at the local café, there is a tabac right next to the café where everyone stops to get ciggies, newspapers, and lottery tickets, and everyone sits at their table and rates the people who stop in front of the tabac to park on a 1 to 10 scale. I have suggested we make cardboard plaques to hold up.
That IS self care at it´s best. And even better if you are not alone. 08557F8B-3...8affb.jpeg
why did half of “the” get censored? sad to see the little guy unnecessarily caught in the crossfire
Kevin McCallister was born wealthy. Money may nit buy happiness but it sure buys fun. Like who has a piano, manaquine, cardboard cutout, toy train record player and whatever else was in that scene?? Rich ppl thats who.
And please do not subscribe to the idea that you couldn't spend money at home before the internet. There was this thing called a telephone where you could call and get things delivered. And you could order by phone or mail from catalogs for things to be delivered COD, which means cash on delivery.
