I’m Petra Švajger, a GIF/cinematography artist. I create unique humorous animated GIF editorials, every time I try to think of a new story and translate it into a series of short animations. I started creating GIFs back in 2010 and I can’t seem to stop ever since.
Looping images became my passion and from shooting random GIFs of my friends doing crazy stuff, I began to make more conceptual series – fashion editorials, event reports, flip-books and fun illustrated portraits.
I created “Weird Flu” series because I was always fascinated by the combination of illustration and photography or video. Creating a mixture of real and imaginary worlds was something I always wanted to do because I think there is something magical about it. So I decided to draw some of my favorite animals and have fun with them.
