Out of all types of cringe-worthy material, the "badass guy/girl" trope is one of the worst. Some people really feel the need to let the world know how much of a badass they are as they use guns/drugs/have tattoos/are anti-liberal or are just plain mean. However, such attempts at bad-assery are usually cringe-worthy rather than cool to all those around such people. Here, we made a list of all the laughable attempts at trying to appear cool and edgy. Some of us are ex soldiers who want to know why some guys want a weapon appropriate only to use in actual war. These weapons are designed only for killing humans---presumably firing right back at you. This is not a civilian weapon. It is not a weapin you hunt with, unless you want to make hamburgers with one shot. The close range injuries inflicted by this type of weapon are very similar to the injuries I had the misfortune to see after a vehicle rolled over an IED. And these guys KNOW this. They want to intimidate and threaten people.
