Football Player Ashley Young Shares What It’s Like Living In Quarantined Italy And Gives His Tips
Every single one of us is dealing with the coronavirus quarantine in different ways. Some watch movies, others read books, and there are definitely people who have resorted to even more creative and outrageous endeavors. However, it’s nice to remember, every now and then, that we’re all in this together and by sharing our experiences, we might make it just that much easier to endure these trying times. One such person who took to Twitter to express his thoughts on the current global situation is Ashley Young, an English professional footballer who plays as a winger or full-back for Series A club Inter Milan.
The man is currently residing in Italy, where, as of March 25, there are 69,176 known cases of the coronavirus, with the highest death toll of 6,820 in the world. As the country went on complete lockdown at the beginning of March, Young also found himself self-isolating. The footballer recently expressed his thoughts on Twitter, sharing some tips with his online audience that were gladly welcomed with hundreds of thousands of likes and retweets.
The Inter Milan player had a lot to share on Twitter, mainly focusing on what to do during the quarantine

Load More Replies...About the masks and the gloves: masks are sold out, so are most gloves. A mask protects others from your germs but not really the other way around. The most useful thing is that it keeps you from touching your face. taking off glooves so that you don't come in contact with anyhting is acutally quite hard. You might just be better off to simply wash your hands when you are home.
Don't forget to wash everything with soap and hot water when you get home, before taking off gloves. First wash gloved hands, then wash all non-paper packages from supermarket, and all fruits and vegs (soap and hot water). Throw away any packaging (like paper bags) that you can't wash.
Don't listen to the WHO, listen to celebrities and sport stars. Even though we are facing shortages of masks where they are truly needed, wear them on your trip to the supermarket where transmission risk is low. That's why they get paid millions of $. Because they know everything about everything.
I think you are being sarcastic and I like it.

Because people are stupid. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
