Mothers Explain Why They Regret Having Kids In 30 Honest Posts

No one tells the truth, because everyone is scared of being judged for it. They don't tell you how horrible it really is because they don't want others to think they hate being parents, or worse, hate their children. When you don't "love" parenthood and everything that comes with it, you're a bad parent. Also, you can't have an opinion if you haven't gone through it yourself, and telling other people how horrible it really is, may cause psychological damage to your children. So no one speaks up, everyone just accepts their fate and let themselves believe in the lie that having children is the best thing that could happen to a person. (*horrible is used for this context, parenthood is not horrible for everyone)

What's Wrong With Today's Society Captured In 102 Brutally Honest Illustrations

I feel you... I'm a graphic designer who had to move to a small town due to circumstances. I'm now a receptionist because this is the only kind of job there is in this god forsaken town. I hate answering phones or even having to LOOK at people, much less talking to them. I'm forced to have this bubbly persona, where I actually prefer sitting alone, doing my own thing and not talking to anybody unless I absolutely have to. Oh, and I have to do design work for my company. For free. And I'm being told to "SMILE MORE OFTEN" on a daily basis. What a lovely cocktail of things I hate.
