These Artists Make A Comic Series Called “Clueless Hero”, And It’s Set In A Fictional Gaming World (35 New Pics)
"Clueless Hero" is a lovely webcomic by Luis Lee and Ana Gaby Perez that was featured here on Bored Panda a little over 8 months ago.
The story is set in a fictional video game and follows not only the hero, but the lives of the game's developers and the people who work for the game! There are a lot of different characters and scenarios in the comics that most gamers would easily be able to recognize as a reference to some of the most popular games.
With all of that being said, if you like games and comics, then think no further and just scroll down below to see some of the newest comics from "Clueless Hero"!

The first Tomb Raider ... played it again like 4 years ago and it was sooo weird ...
I remember when the PS2 came out - Dynamic shadows, real time rendering the best graphic ever! Now compare those games to modern graphics...
In a previous interview with Bored Panda, the comic's creators explained their entire idea in the following manner. "Well, my friend and I are both gamers and, at the time, we were trying to get into game development. We started goofing around, talking about how nonsensical game logic really is and that's basically how the concept for the comic came about." One of the artists told us.
Heck, that’s the way it is with any character from any line of entertainment.
When I played my first video game, Pacman didn't exist. Amazed I could type this without breaking a hip.
The Clueless Hero comics' authors discussed their main sources of inspiration during the creation of the comics. "For the most part, they are all inspired by cliched RPG characters. And the hero, our main character, was originally inspired by Link and the idea of having a silent protagonist." They explained.
Definitely me! My PS4 has been a great source of comfort since being long-term sick, 10/10 highly recommend!
Before that, waiting for your turn to take over the keyboard when playing multi-player Diplomacy!

I think many artists get discouraged looking at views and likes but, really, if you like making comics, use that as your motivation, just enjoy it. Views and likes may or may not come but, as long as you are making something you enjoy, it's worth it."
I suppose people that removed the pool ladder should be nervous right about now

Load More Replies...I named myself "Hickity" on one of my old DS games for some reason? I don't even remember the thought process there. I also chose "Im Dee" once because when the npc greeted me and said "Who are you?" I took it at face value and typed in what I'd normally respond. This was when I was really young, ok?
this is literally me and my idiot teammates (friends) whenever we play a battle royale game because either one is the room with the chests we can hear from outside OR... Its the room with the campers. (we always somehow get the one with the enemies ;-;)

It occurred to me a few days ago, learning my way around Albion Online, that game developers in the nineties radically underestimated the amount of time people would be willing to grind, farm, and mule. (working hypothesis: the tipping point was Morrowind in 2000)
Yep, games I’ve replayed hundreds of times are the best. Tf2, Minecraft, Halo…
