First post and i’m actually crying. We don’t deserve dogs 😭

I didn't get to hug my best friend. Instead I got a phone call saying he went into cardiac arrest at 1am and they needed my permission to euthanize him. They told me there was nothing that could be done and it would be the most peaceful way. Then I had to pick him up the next morning and bury him near a lemon tree in the backyard. RIP Oscar Brown.

My sister recently adopted a good girl that needed some surgeries. She now has Ring cameras all through their home to watch her all the time. She is in the laundry room which has a doggie door out to a large fenced in area for her to run. When they are gone and Layla's is inside they have video cameras at her eye level and several more outside. My sister is on her phone watching her all the time. Layla is loved!!

My Dad used to tell the dog to protect the house from Lions and Tigers when we went out. I asked my Dad about it , and he said: "Have you ever seen any Lions or Tigers around ?" I said no, and Dad said: "See, the Dog is doing its job" LOL

The mini dachshund I take care of will sleep this and he also will takeover my spots on the bed so I have to find a unique way to lay down for the night. The thing is, I really don't mind.

This is Me every night with my Shih Tzu Ollie. He is my heart. Plus he knows the warm spots in bed.

I would not even entertain breathing the same air as someone who didn't love dogs, let alone date them.

It's good to introduce them early. If they don't get along, you can find a different person. :)
