I have been writing short dialogues about my adorable dog since he was a puppy. The intense affection I felt for a creature I could not communicate with inspired me to imagine the conversations we would have if dogs could talk.
Recently, I realized that the vast collection of stuff I had written might entertain other people. The problem was these short stories were kind of boring to look at in text form. They needed to be brought to life to have the same energy and vigor as my actual dog.
Enter Hey Buddy Comics’ talented artist “K.” Together, we planned out a series of fun comics based on my stories, the start of which you can see below.
I hope you like these interesting stories. There are many more webcomics to come! Find us on Instagram if you want to see them.

This hits so close to home! I had to put asleep my big very good boy last week!! 😭😭 68444342_2...e95324.jpg
I didn't get to hug my best friend. Instead I got a phone call saying he went into cardiac arrest at 1am and they needed my permission to euthanize him. They told me there was nothing that could be done and it would be the most peaceful way. Then I had to pick him up the next morning and bury him near a lemon tree in the backyard. RIP Oscar Brown.
I really hope this is how it works. And also that I will get to the same place my dogs went.....
I hope this is what my dogs felt :( I made sure I held onto both of them as tight as I could while they passed. Rip Zack and Lola, 2003-2020
All the time. I think that I get more excited to come home to the dog then key is when I come home.
Load More Replies...My sister recently adopted a good girl that needed some surgeries. She now has Ring cameras all through their home to watch her all the time. She is in the laundry room which has a doggie door out to a large fenced in area for her to run. When they are gone and Layla's is inside they have video cameras at her eye level and several more outside. My sister is on her phone watching her all the time. Layla is loved!!
I bring my little dog along whenever I can, and tell people I'm Murphy's emotional support person, but it's really the other way around.
This is going to be me when I go back to the office all day, everyday. :( Not looking forward to it.
My baby girl (a boxer named Evie) can always lift me out of a bad/sad mood.
K911. A twist on the overused "K-9" pun, possibly originating from this guy: the-best-b...96-png.jpg
This is me and Evie! She is a 70 pound Boxer who thinks she is a lap dog.
I wish my dog would sleep with me, he always sleeps at the bottom of the bed 😢
The mini dachshund I take care of will sleep this and he also will takeover my spots on the bed so I have to find a unique way to lay down for the night. The thing is, I really don't mind.
This is Me every night with my Shih Tzu Ollie. He is my heart. Plus he knows the warm spots in bed.
I would not even entertain breathing the same air as someone who didn't love dogs, let alone date them.
It's good to introduce them early. If they don't get along, you can find a different person. :)
Yes! Buddy is right - most dog owning humans are happy to be around even more dogs!
I wish i could just go in a room with a lot of dogs in it and just enjoy all the doggo's it would be a dog party!
for a moment, I thought he was teasing her with that stick in a naughty way
I just imagine one of those cartoony dut daaar noise for that end panel
do like my dog did and get the ball stuck in the cone and then "chase" it around the cone, while running, full sprint, around the house and wreak havoc. fun times lol
Mine are "supervisors". They are union, terrible at their job and will never be fired.
Our obese yellow lab will only go on a mile walk and that’s it. He won’t do anything else
So True. We would be a much better race as humans if we all lived by a dog's philosophy.
Except sniffing each other's butt (that's gross)
Load More Replies...These made me smile, cry and think about my doggo! Thank you.
I only had to see the featured comic to start crying. tHanKs a LoT!
I love every picture. They all are what I love to do with both of my fur babies.
