Dion has been performing at Plénitude Arena, Europe’s largest indoor venue, for her comeback shows.
Her first performance took place on September 12, when fans sang alongside her as she performed hits including My Heart Will Go On and Because You Loved Me.
Her next show followed on September 16, with a third taking place on September 18.
After the latter date, notably, the singer kept the celebrations going with fans gathered outside her hotel. She climbed on a parked black car and swayed to music playing nearby.
The moment caught netizens’ attention, and speculation spread rapidly.
“I think her whole illness was a bunch of bulls**t to get attention,” one detractor said, while another agreed, calling her comeback “one heck of a turnaround for an incurable disorder.”
The comments became increasingly bizarre as the discussion continued.
“Celine is gone. Actually, she’s been gone for some time now. The new Celine is just a young faceless actor wearing a skin mask that looks like her,” a third person claimed.
“Or maybe it’s a clone, nothing is impossible,” a fourth remarked.
“She’s never acted like this before. She’s definitely on d**gs,” a separate user alleged.

Harper’s Bazaar visited Celine Dion at a recording studio in Las Vegas in June, where she was seen balancing on a ballet barre before stretching into a wide split.
Her trainer, Naomi, then told her she was becoming more flexible, which seemed to concern her slightly.
“Too flexible?” she asked, before being assured that she had nothing to worry about.
The room reportedly included weights, a treadmill, and a reformer machine, which Dion used for 90-minute Pilates sessions.
Alongside physical exercise, her rehabilitation regimen includes new medications, vocal therapy, and immunotherapy.
Speaking with the publication, the singer described SPS as a “progressive condition” rather than a disease because, as she put it, “Disease make you go like this [scrunching nose].”
“Instead of questioning life, can you live life? So I’m living my life, girl. I’m living the life,” she added.
Her comments offered insight into the mindset that has guided her return to performing.

Dion had to postpone her Courage World Tour in March 2020 due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, what began as a pandemic-related delay ultimately turned into a permanent cancellation because of her health struggles.
“It’s not hard to do a show, you know. It’s hard to cancel a show,” the singer said in I Am: Celine Dion.
A clip from the documentary showed the icon exercising before she explained, “I’m working hard every day [to get well], but I have to admit it’s been a struggle.”
“I miss it so much,” she added. “The people, I miss them.”
She then made a vow that may have seemed overambitious at the time but has since become a reality.
“If I can’t run, I’ll walk. If I can’t walk, I’ll crawl. And I won’t stop. I won’t stop.”
Dion was overcome with emotion as she returned to the stage and thanked fans for their unwavering support
Around 35,000 people witnessed Dion’s comeback on September 12.
“I had promised myself not to cry,” the singer told her fans during the opening moments of the show. “But I’m so happy to see you all.”
After delivering her first song of the night, On ne change pas, which translates to “We Don’t Change,” she added, “Here we are. I’m standing on stage in this city that I love so much thanks to your support and your love.”
“I have to admit, though, that the road was rocky,” she continued.
“The journey was longer than expected, with unplanned steps along the way. But I hung in there. A faint ray of light in the distance, deep in the mountains. I believed in it. And here it is. The sun—the sun is here. The sun, right in front of me.”
Dion went on to reference her vow to return to the stage during her speech.
“I made a promise to be back on stage. So here I am, singing for you and singing for me, singing live,” she said. “I am everything I am because you loved me.”
