An idea for a visually cute – yet dark and twisted – webcomic had been rolling around in my head for a few years. What emerged was an optimistic and cute bunny, named Buni, with terrible luck.
With very few words, my dark comics rely on images to tell the story, which is often full of plot twists, sad and funny all at the same time. It's perfect for Instagram and @bunicomic has more than 170K followers.
Always positive, Buni doesn’t understand that the cute world he lives in is usually out to get him. The girl he loves, loves someone else. And his best intentions never seem to work. Yet he wakes up each day hopeful.
Together with his cynical dad, Buni inhabits a surreal world populated by teddy bears, cupcakes, and unicorns.
Buni was named best online comic by the National Cartoonists Society in 2013 and in June I published my first book, “Buni: Happiness Is a State of Mind.” I’m also a featured artist for Webtoon with nearly 200 Hapi Buni comics.

Bon appetit. Our English word appetite is directly borrowed from the French word for appetite. Except French uses gendered words and English doesn't, therefore in French, if you were wishing a man 'Good Eating!' it would be appetit (minus the 'e'), or a woman would be appetite (with the 'e').

i kinda love the the dog is disabled. it hits home that the people who help you out have their own stressors that they live with, but they care enough about you to do what they can for you.

Well, the ocean is a bad choice as goldfish are freshwater fish, you'd need to do a river - on the other hand, goldfish tend to wreak havoc on foreign ecosystems, so that's a bad thing for everything that lives there. Basically, just get a pond.
