I Fold Books Into Works Of Art

I've always loved creating things with my hands and re-purposing materials. I came across book folding and fell in love with the idea of creating images, words and digits by folding the pages of a book.

The silhouette portrait is of my father in 1928. It took me about 15 hrs to complete. There were 512 pages that had to be marketed, cut and folded. Most standard folded pieces take just a few hours.
