Actually, I found a general sense of ownership to be way more important there than recycling - if it's not yours you don't touch it.

Hey, there's some information in the text - but these are images from various places in Japan; they have a big issue with desolate houses (13,6% of all houses, more then 8,5 million houses) - And I travelled around the country and photographed these places. This was a bankrupt Pachinko hall, right above Tokyo. In Japan it's more common to leave everything once it's bankrupt. I once found a deserted pachinko hall next to a NEW, working pachinko parlour.
