Anne Hathaway turned heads and set cameras flashing as she attended the recent Versace show during Milan Fashion Week, wearing a stunning red leather corset dress.

But after sitting front row at the runway show on Friday, Anne’s evening took a humorous turn as she had a chat with the legendary Donatella Versace and lamented over the one challenge of the breathtaking dress from the designer’s new autumn/winter 2024 collection: not being able to sit down.

The 41-year-old actress had shared a carousel of pictures and videos on Instagram from her time in Milan. She kicked off the post with a picture of her standing beside Donatella in the fashion icon’s own creation.

Next in the carousel was a candid moment of Anne, captured wriggling around in her dress as she hilariously tried to maneuver herself into a comfortable sitting position.

“No, it’s… I’m fine. I’m fine,” Anne said as she continued squirming in her dress while the laughter continued in the background.

“It’s for Donatella. I’m so happy. Thank you for having me to Milan,” the actress added.

Donatella later replied to Anne’s post and wrote, “Love you!!!!! So much fun spending time with you!!”

“OMG lol that’s our princess,” one fan wrote in the comments

The light-hearted exchange between Anne and the fashion mogul was loved by many online for the warm camaraderie and the oh-so-relatable moment shared by the actress.

“OMG lol that’s our princess,” one fan wrote in the comments.

Another said, “The second slide is how I picture you being when you gotta dress real fancy.”

“Love you two. such icons,” one said, while another added, “Anne is so beautiful and even more with hardly any makeup absolutely stunning.”

In another video that Anne shared in the series, she was captured reciting the lyrics of Lady Gaga’s song Donatella to the designer.

    “Calma, amore! Calma!” Donatella responded.

Anne Hathaway also had an encounter in Milan with Anna Wintour, who asked her, “Can you breathe?”
