‘Analog Memory Desk’ Uses 1,100-Yard Roll Of Paper To Save Your Every Note
69Kviews
MCAD student Kirsten Camara is obsessed with how we remember the past, so she created a table that has a kilometer of blank paper to record everything you need.
When the desktop is covered in notes, scribbles and drawings, you just turn the handles and voilà – you have a blank analog tabletop again!
The desk is not available for purchase, but the blueprints were released with a Creative Commons license, so you are free to build it on your own! What do you think – could you use a table like this for work or play?

Actually, it will be better if you cut a square on the glass and let paper roll between the desk and the glass. That overcomes many problems
Like a white board? I guess that would save a lot of paper!
Actually no. But I think this idea is nonsense as uses too much paper. =) But it looks good anyway.
Maybe I don't get your idea, but if you put the paper under the glass, wouldn't that negate the point of being able to write on the paper?
No, that's why I'm suggesting to cut some part of glass, to enable you to write on the paper. As it is filled, you can roll for a clean part
very innovative and fun
The idea is essentially great, but has its disadvantages. First of, you can easily smear your doodles and notes with sweaty palms.
