Anafiotika, Living Under The Acropolis

Discover the Cyclades underneath the Acropolis. Anafiotika, is a neighbourhood established in the middle of the 19th century, when King Otto brought the famous builders, from Anafi to build the palace. Since the intention was just to bring them, but with no care for housing, the builders decided to move with their families under the Acropolis, and recreate a housing environment that would remind them of their home in the island.
