There is video evidence of the officer putting one of his knees on George Floyd's back and one on his neck with his foot off the floor, essentially putting most of his body weight onto George Floyd's neck. His knee was on his neck for over 9 minutes as well. In less than 5 minutes of that time George told them he couldn't breathe 27 times.

Intensive care doctor Martin Tobin testified and said the officer put 41.5 kilograms of downward pressure on Mr Floyd's neck. The dr demonstrated where the knee compressed the fragile tissue of the hypopharynx, blocking that part of the respiratory system in the lower part of the throat. And having his hands cuffed behind his back with the officers knee also on his back acted like a vice, also impacting George's breathing. He also claimed that even a healthy person would have died.

@Foxxy, (2) If I was to be convinced by anyone, it would be Dr. Tobin. He at least, seems to know what he's talking about. I will reconsider my opinion. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure when you squeeze off a person's air supply, THEY CAN'T BREATHE! You know the old, if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's a duck. Kind of the same with seeing someone kneeling on someone's neck. Trust Monster is truly an abysmal excuse for a human being. I hope his mother is proud.

@ Foxxy, Floyd was saying he couldn't breathe before he was put in that position. Its quite possible it was a combination of being arrested, officer negligence and drug use that did Floyd in. He had COVID, a heart condition, sickle cell anemia, and a heavy drug user.

No, I didn't say drugs killed him. I said, "Was it drugs that killed him? We'll never know 100% because he was such an addict he took drugs from the drug dealer who sold him tainted drugs that nearly killed him a year prior. The real truth, if it could be known, will likely never make it past the baying for Chauvin's head and propaganda that insists that there is only one possible narrative." The facts I have put forth (1) Floyd was an addict (2) Floyd had taken drugs recently from his drug dealer (3) the same drug dealer who had sold him bad drugs that led to getting him hospitalized with a heart condition last year. (4) BLM and their zealots insist there is only one possible narrative.

No one is disputing black on black violence. This is about POLICE violence. You know the people supposedly trained to serve and protect.

It's not being disputed because it's not even being discussed. Quite simply, if BLM and its supporters cared about black lives as much as they claim to, black on black violence would be, at least, sharing equal billing. That it doesn't is quite telling of the whole group of people.

I mean the final autopsy report concluded death by homocide due to "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression" so you know, that's what the professional pathologists and medical examiners concluded so I don't think your "we'll never know" is very relevant at all. To the best efforts to know, by experts, he was murdered. If you wanna question official reports and a professional autopsy, be my guest, but you are going to have to provide better proof than these experts to change my mind that there's anything up for debate here. #blacklivesmatter

"Convicted of theft, not armed robbery"...this is the most positive thing anyone can say about his criminal past. Does this mean he should have died the way he did? Absolutely not! But he ABSOLUTELY had a responsibility in creating the situation in which he died. If BLM was to be believe, no black person could perform the simple action of walking down the street without being accosted by the police. This simply isn't true. Liberals are attempting to claim the moral high ground while walking level with the conservatives they so adamantly profess to hate.
