Some things in this world need time to mature. Cheese and wine, relationships, our self-esteem… But they are not what this post is about. Quite on the contrary—we will be looking at things that miserably failed the test of time and made it into full walk of shame mode.

Thanks to the subreddit “Aged Like Milk” and its 713k devoted members, we have this precious collection of some pretty things, said or done, making a solid U-turn. “A subreddit dedicated to all those things in media and elsewhere that didn’t stand the test of time, at all,” states the community’s description and here you go, my attention is yours.

Let's scroll through some of the sourest cases below that will remind us all to think twice before letting something out into this world.

In order to not regret things you said or did and make them stand the test of time, you gotta be really good at decision making and being aware of what the future holds. But even then, it’s just a very human thing to do.

Unless you’re a superforecaster. It’s the practice of prediction that covers everything from whether a currency will become stronger, one country will invade another, or there will be civil unrest in a city. Superforecasters calculate the probability of something happening and then adjust that as circumstances change. In this way, they’re able to come up with consistent predictions.

George Floyd was not admirable, but he was a human being who deserved to be treated with basic human dignity. The justice system should have given him accountability and any help he needed. Instead it murdered him for a very trivial offence.

Okay then - yes, George Floyd was not 100% innocent. Yes, George Floyd was not a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. Does that make it okay for him to be brutally killed in front of groups of people, strangled although he said he could not breathe? No!

Of course it doesn't.... but it doesn't make him a hero or role model for the world either. And he wasn't strangled. Nor was he murdered. That means the cop showed up on scene and decided with intent he was going to take Floyd's life. That's not what happened. Please use the correct words when you want to debate an issue or stand on a soapbox

Yep, it's wrong to bring up her past transgressions, but these same people never let us forget Floyd had a criminal record(as if he deserved to die because of it) She doesn't get a pass just because she was in the military.

He may not have deserved to die but he definitely had some measure of responsibility in creating the situation in which he ultimately died. If BLM is to be believed, at least based on the way they have approached this situation and many similar, black people bear no responsibility simply because of the color of their skin.

Wow. The comment section is heated af. I just want to give my opinion. Even if one wants to argue that Chauvin didn't kill George Floyd, denying medical attention to a sick/dying person, more so a person who kept shouting "I can't breathe" is murder on its own.

Her "legacy" is that she was a gullible idiot who tried to overthrow the government. Not something to be proud of.

I mean he’s not someone we should be modeling after, had he not died he’d be in prison for felonies, def not a role model

Absolutely PIGMENTATION should not make a difference. What SHOULD though is the proven character, actions and criminal history of the persons involved. I Believe that persons who are resisting arrest simply because the want to not be held accountable for their actions and choices that violated the law or are affecting the safety or peace of the citizens around them are in part responsible for their demise. It's horrible that this young man lost his life, however had he not intentionally broken the law AND tried to resist arrest using physical force of his own, he 100% would not have been shot and killed by that officer. She made a mistake, but it wasn't with intent - however she took a life and will pay for that the rest of hers. activbreaking lawd

Blacks are dis-proportionally targeted for "criminal" behavior and here are the numbers to back it up. https://www.ojjdp.gov/ojstatbb/crime/ucr.asp?table_in=2

From: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2020/09/29/fact-check-meme-shows-incorrect-homicide-stats-race/5739522002/ Between 1980-2008, the U.S. Department of Justice found that 84% of white victims were killed by white offenders and 93% of Black victims were killed by Black offenders. If black lives mattered as much as BLM wanted us to believe they'd be more vocal about black on black killings than they are on Police on black killings. Conservatives use the same type of argument regarding abortion. Supposedly they CARE SO MUCH about all those unborn children being destroyed. Problem is, if they actually cared as much as they say they do, there would be absolutely no foster system in the United States. Quite simply, once that "unborn life" becomes a shitting, crying, snotty mess they simply can't be bothered to care about that life anymore. BLM needs to clean its own house before it tries to dictate to others what they need to clean up.

I had to google who Ashli Babbit was. It appears she died trying to break into the Capitol on Jan 6. If that is true, then she was an idiot and a criminal. George Floyd was a career criminal on drugs on a downward spiral. Was it drugs that killed him? We'll never know 100% because he was such an addict he took drugs from the drug dealer who sold him tainted drugs that nearly killed him a year prior. The real truth, if it could be known, will likely never make it past the baying for Chauvin's head and propaganda that insists that there is only one possible narrative.

We do know 100% that drugs did not kill him because drugs didn't have a knee on his neck cutting off his oxygen supply. Also, if you knew anything about drugs and were inteligent enough to read and interpret his autopsy you'd know that your statement sounds idiotic to those of us with an at least average IQ.

But it’s much more complex than that. According to Bloomberg, superforecasters did not accurately predict Brexit, putting the chances of a Leave vote at 23% in June 2016—the month of the referendum. Their predicted figure had been higher a few months previously, but they had adjusted the likelihood downwards, reports the BBC.

This is the problem companies have... concentrating on what others are doing and not themselves. Apple might be a horrible company, but for the longest time, they acted like everyone else didn't exist, they compared their new phones with their old phones
